You know the difference between average and median, right? You aren't going to get hardly any 0-10 year olds at deadpool but you will get 50+. That pulls the average up. It doesn't mean most of the viewers are 35.
Of course, and that's why I can laugh at what you selected as your inputs.

No. The age goes up. Deadpool took a 65% drop in weekend 2. It's really not the factor you are making it out to be.
So another demographic went to see Deadpool. Interesting.

About half of Deadpool's audience was over 30.
Close to 40% were women.

You sure do love your strawmans. How many alters do you have just to downvote harmless, factual posts?
I said TARGET audience is 18-35 men and that demo makes up 60% of Deadpool’s take. Of course other people go. Don’t be obtuse. Star Wars is much more spread out since they have the older males and want to sell toys to kids. This isn’t really something that is debatable.
ETA: this is also apparent in that Solo saw an 18% drop in family attendance compared other Star Wars movies. They don’t even track that for Deadpool.

I saw Deadpool and loved it. I’d honestly rather see it again than to go see Solo.

Good point. What you're saying isn't remotely bad or controversial. GCA is petty enough to start 5 accounts simply for downvoting. What a clown.

You said "There's only one demographic overlap and that's men from 18-35." Obviously that isn't correct. If you walk back from that far enough, eventually you'll be right.

That demographic made up about one third of Deadpool's audience, according to Movio.

So you have no data to compare and you're just guessing. Got it.
Also, is it just a coincidence that you and OMLandshark have both whined about alters and downvotes incessantly and independently, or are you the same person?

Holy shite I cannot believe you two are still doing this. Just frick already and get it over with. And Argo, let us know if Ell has giant areolas.

What’s great is we haven’t had a box office update in a dozen pages probably

It wasn’t exactly a winning thread before our back and forth.

About 4.5 mil yesterday, puts at right under $120 million for the first full week.

Just here to say the movie was really good regardless of how much it makes. This was well-done besides 10-15 minutes featuring a less-than-stellar droid.
For those waiting until it hits streaming, I don't think you'll be disappointed with your decision, or the movie.

It had to happen at some point. We agree on something.
Breesus and OMLandshark have been given free rein to shite on every Star Wars thread. I don't feel bad for my part in doing that to this one.

Depends who you ask. Some place it as high as $60 million, which I think is insane. It could very well do $40-50 million, though.

I'm going to see it this weekend. I'm not boycotting the film or anything. Although, I was disappointed in TLJ.

I think 35 million is an optimistic number.

$38-40 million+ is realistic.

Box office Mojo's predicting $30 million
Box office pro - $28
Box office deadline - low $30s
Not sure where some of those variety, hollywood reporter type articles are getting that $60 million amount. That seems absurd.
I'd be shocked if it hit $40
