Oh yes, they are a fraud, and it seems clear the air is not toxic. It’s also clear that Bernard died by going outside. It was not a suit nor the air, so that leaves a drone being the likely culprit. And if that is so, it stands to reason that drones kill all cleaners, albeit from height.

Good thing we mastered the art of cryogenics and regeneration right before the world ended. That was lucky.

Are you talking about the fire? So the heat tape is resistant to it. The other tape allows the nanobots to infiltrate the suits and kill the cleaners?
What is the port on Daniel/Troy for? Is it strictly for injecting the warm saline or whatever the frick it is when they come out of cryo?

No, before they go out inert argon gas is pumped into the airlock, except it's not gas it's nanobots

Take this with a grain of salt because Howey has already denied it. The main evidence is they haven’t deconstructed the Silo sets since they finished filming the final season in March.

It could be that the nanobots are neither good or bad in and of themselves. It's how they are used. Thurman et al are just as bad as the Iranians who used them to bring down Charlotte. Manipulate them for your own use. You could use them to enforce your own agenda.

My initial gripe is that the nanobots are visible. You can see the gas, grey goo, etc… theres nothing to show they are “invisible” other than the quick note on 50nm particles. However if the gas is indeed nanobots then they kill at a certain concentration. Not sure why they could bc essentially they just kill slower at lower concentration bc they are likely in the environment killing the plants. We know 17 has been open so why arent they seeing the effects of dying from nanobots?

Because the nanobots are controlled by silo 1. There is a dome of nanobots over all of the silos preventing that part of ground from healing. It is however safe to go outside. You're stuck on the nanobots being visible. That was a weaponized version of Iranian tech. A dirty version if you will. Grey goo was not a reference to nanobots btw

The drone attacks shot ammo and gas at the people from 17. Wasn't that just gas and not nanobots?
They call it "the compound"
We don't know how fast that stuff works or if you can smell/taste it. They might just release that in the airlock before they go out to clean, the suits (or tape) are bullshite, and it just slowly kills them after they walk out.
Also, as far as the landscape still being dead. They could be doing that as well from Silo 1. Just killing everything so the people in the Silo still believe everything is dead outside. Not sure that's the case, but it's easy to explain it that way.
