I’m enjoying these episodes more now because I’ve forgotten a lot of the later books. I remember the general gist of what happens but a lot of the details and who did what are missing in my head. So, I’m getting surprised by some of this myself. The ATL nuke wasn’t a surprise. That was kind of hard forget.

Agreed. Beginning to think the main point of this show is that humans are incapable of self-governance even under manufactured 'ideal' conditions.
As we've seen from Fauci, covid and ongoing global warfare ... no amount of technology can prevent the primal desire to kill and dominate on a large scale.
This was the narrative growing up in the 90s in the early days of the internet. How many times did you hear some egghead say the internet would usher in a time of global peace and cooperation, because people would be able to communicate better?
This seemed like a reasonable take from 1991 to 2001, but been downhill ever since.
The only thing advanced technology does is allow people to kill other people better, faster, and without getting their hands dirty in the process by way of drones, biological warfare, psychotropic drugs, nanobots and nukes.

Really great season and ending and Season 4 looks awesome. This show has really hit its stride.

Why did Daniel become a killer? He wouldve never have done that before. Why even pick him to do that work?

Great finale. Last two episodes were the best of the series.
