Am I terrible at judging movies if I think this one is actually fairly decent, even somewhat good? I watched it tonight for the first time in awhile. The acting is subpar, but the concept really is intriguing.

Lol. My friend and I were going to a midnight showing of that at the palace 20 years ago and a lady coming out of the 10pm showing just yelled out the ending. People were PISSED.

What a bitch. But I honestly would have gone back to get a refund and been glad she saved me the time and money.

I'm with you. It's always gotten a lot of hate, but I thought it was ok.

I liked it even though I saw the twist coming.
Spoilers
It actually makes the acting seem better when you realize that yes, the accents are bad, but that actually is quite consistent with the story. They're fake.

Great movie. And I don't care to say it.
If you like plays, this is practically a play.

There is so much about it that makes absolutely no sense, not to mention being utterly implausible, if you give it any thought whatsoever, that it's ridiculous. Suspension of disbelief can only go so far.

I've never gotten the hate either. Good movie.

Isn't that on your family crest?
I really enjoyed the movie. His struggle between his past life/current situation was interesting and compelling.
