As funny as Shane is he couldn’t even really make that show good.
Couple of chuckles but nothing edgy outside of his monologue. Good for him regardless
And I’ll reiterate how much I respect Shane bc I’m a member of he and Matt’s Patreon. Just a tough show, the pod and Gilly and Keeves is much better comedy. Glad the Bull got his redemption arc though

Didn’t watch all of Nate’s but the Revolutionary War sketch was elite.
They have different styles don’t want to compare I like both dudes, Shane’s edgier style resonates more for me due to how similar we are in age (ie saying fig and retard)

The show was ok, not great.
The niece story from the monologueis something he’s been working on at shows in Austin. He’s added to it and made it better.
Anyone notice that they cut off the end, right when Shane was extending his arm to shake Bowen Yang’s hand?

Shane is a bitch for going on this show. He is funnier and more famous than everyone on that show. They fricked over his careeer, or at least tried to. His Gilly and Keeves skits are way funnier than any of this shite they pushed out tonight.
Its almost like he needs/wants that approval from mainstream corporate media. But the problem with that is its not funny. Shane would rather be Colbert than Norm. This was just another step in him being a sellout.

I have no idea who this guy is but he has zero charisma based on what I saw last night. The Floor sketch was probably the best but it had a sudden weird ending

Looks like he bombed pretty hard. His opening monolog was pretty bad in spots (oh boy another masterbation joke), and I don't think he's a good sketch comedy actor either based on these snl clips.

Or, you know, maybe he just wants to introduce himself to a bigger audience that may not know who he is? Or, call me crazy, but there is something about hosting the show that fired him previously.
