About 150 million people watch JRE every month. Shame is on there about 6x per year now.

I haven't purposely watched an SNL episode since Sandler hosted like 3-4 yrs ago. I'll watch Saturday night though, if nothing else just to see the opening monologue.

I feel like I’m missing something with Gillis. Watched what I’m assuming is his latest Netflix special last night and just did not find it funny. Over half of it was white guilt garbage. The only bit I found remotely funny was the Navy Seal Ex boyfriend.

Anyone know by chance if there is a way to watch the SNL show online?
Don't have cable or regular TV where I am at

I’ve given him 2 chances and i didn’t laugh once. This is coming from a guy who laughs at almost everything. I laugh non stop at Nate bargatze. Gillis was NOT funny. Final note, comedians should NEVER laugh hysterically at their own jokes. It’s like a laugh track on a sitcom. Reminds me of that lame comedian, Marty Cohen, from Solid Gold in the 80s.

You have a zombie as a president and cackling moron as VP and yet they do some high school sketch that didn't generate even a smile.

I have also never heard of a single one of these 40 cast members except Keenan and the update guys.

Gillis also seems very nervous. I also can't believe he isn't leaning into the SNL firing more.

Zero laughs from the studio audience in that opening. Terrible

Yeah. This crowd isn’t helping him any.

He has a lot better material than the downs stuff.

He probably has no idea what this audience wants.

I was curious if Gillis would be any different since he has SNL producers breathing down his neck. Not even a little bit

He knew that monologue wasn't for the crowd. He did seem a little nervous, but was good to see him not clean up his jokes.
