What is the deal with the “twins” of each of the characters that we saw in this episode? What are they ?
To represent Kier's brother who was by his side and probably holograms/figments of their imagination.
If Lumon can turn on and off their minds, I'd imagine they can make them see things.

Filler and not much movement of the storyline.
Why do yall keep saying this?
- confirmation that Helena was there not Helly. Even if you figured it out, now the characters know
- mark and Helena having sex
- irv getting fired
- the weird clone things
A lot happened

Was just a meh episode IMO...
I think its because we went from EP3 ending so badass with Mark being reintegrated, to not even touching it, outside of maybe the flashback after sex.
There was a lot of momentum to 45/60m in the episode being blah

What did I just watch? Haha
Thought it was just a filler episode until the last 5 minutes.
So that was the first time an innie went to sleep, right?

You’re right it was.
I feel kinda bad for the people that like the show but not this episode. I think this may end up being a highly consequently episode to push us into the second half of the season.

Have faith it will all be tied back in and in retrospect a great episode, but in the moment, def not a fan outside of the last 10-15 min.
Again, think it was ending on such a high with EP3 of Mark being reintegrated and the potential only for it to be 45 min of mundane, followed by a good 15min.
I was expecting similar to the S1 finale and then S2 starting on a high with Mark running through the hall...

How many times do you think the writers/show runners said "Pine Barrens" during these writing sessions?

When Irv saw the creepy old lady demon I thought "is this shite about to turn into The Ring"?

Then no wonder Irv’s dream affected him so much. It was the first time he ever had one.
So many awesome details and questions about this show, but after Lost, I’m trying my hardest to not twist myself into knots trying to find them out because I’m worried that it will never be answered.

Woe and that whole story was legit creepy. I hope Irv is back in some capacity

Got a feeling his Outie is going to play a huge role in blowing this whole thing up

Same. I keep waiting for Burt to get back into the mix somehow. Isn’t Walken still consistently listed in opening credits? If Burt gets involved later, so will Irving, even if it’s just his outtie.

We saw Burt follow him outside his apartment in episode 2. We have got to see Burt again to follow up on why that happened. And thus pushes irv to the outside (for the time being). Seems like a perfect way for the two of them to link up.

When Helly said she was ashamed of her life on the outside, I started to think it really was her.
I wonder if Helena really is ashamed. He’s beholden to a father that tRats her like shite but has grown up into the cult of Eagan her entire life and has Stockholm syndrome. At the same time, I wonder even without reintegration if there’s a more subtle bleed over effect.

Well we still need to know what "My innie got the message" is referring to...
I'm wondering if theres something that happens when Dylan is pulled into the family room and leaves Irv at the staircase in E2. Is whatever the message is delivered and thats why Irv comes back to the team

Someone called this a filler episode? That last 5 minutes was alot more than filler.
Now did Lumon know what Helena was doing?
