Jon Riley and Selma Hayek were awesome.
I think the books are like a series of 12. But the movie crammed 2 books into it. Studio didnt like the return value, and said too much was going on, once it was released.
I always thought it was pretty solid though

Immediately clicked this thread to say Master & Commander.. Such a good opportunity to build out 2-3 more movies surrounding it. But, with the way Hollywood tends to run franchises into the ground I'm happy that it's not sullied.

A real T2 sequel that depicts the future war leading up to the point where John Conner sends Kyle Reese back in time, thus completing the loop.

As for Harry Potter.. I want a "Prequel" that takes place during the last book.
The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore. Let parts of it be narrated by Rita Skeeter. Flash back to a young Daniel Ratcliff reading it in his tent and different locations from Deathly Hallows. Have a "Princess Bride" feel to it where it is obvious he is reading it, but the movie plays out as a story of young dumbledore.

somewhere out there in another universe I Know What Did Last Summer got a real 3rd movie (I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer doesn't count) and kept going along w/the Scream franchise.
