I didn’t even see this thread and watched it on Amazon Prime this morning
Rico was a douchebag. Carmen was a ladder-climbing whore. Carl was a pretentious frick. Dizz was super hot.
And I still love every minute of this movie.

Yeah Carmen was trying to fast track up the ladder. Meanwhile Rico is in the trenches and still ends up a General in later movies. Not sure what happened to Carmen.

Starship Troopers is one of the best films of all time. It somehow managed to be a parody and a good sci-fi movie at the same time.
