I haven't seen anything about it, but I can't see why he wouldn't be in it, considering that Neil Flynn had a recurring role in Shrinking.

Yes. Dr Janitor is confirmed by Bill Lawerence in an interview.

Where are you seeing this?
I'll to find the interview and articles. Dr Cox said he is finishing up his HBO show with Michael Scott from the office in August and will begin filming Scrubs after. Carla will work with her show on ABC and will film scrubs. Dr Janitor will be on board as well.
The only one I haven't seen is the Todd. He quit acting and is working as a Real Estate agent but I would bet my mortgage he comes back because they are all still close. Anyone else I'm missing?

It only just occurred to me that Shrinking is a bit of a Fugitive reunion for him and Harrison Ford.

He also apparently was in the Indiana Jones alien movie.
But I've blocked that whole film out of my memory.

Nice.
Did the original film in Vancouver? I thought it was in San Diego or something

The TV show "Scrubs" was primarily filmed at the North Hollywood Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. This decommissioned hospital, located at 12629 Riverside Drive, served as the main filming location for the first eight seasons. The hospital provided not only the exterior shots of Sacred Heart Hospital, but also housed the interior sets, production offices, and editing suites

They mentioned all these great side characters will be back if they are available which I have no doubt they will be available for cameo's like in the original.
I'm so sad about Ted but lets just remember we got to see him for 8 glorious seasons and now he is in heaven not suffering
The question is how many episodes in a season? I don't watch much cable television anymore. Do they still have 24 episodes a season or did they change to 8 to 10 episodes like the streaming apps?

It is not yet confirmed whether Dr. Kelso will appear in the Scrubs reboot. While the creator, Bill Lawrence, has expressed interest in having Ken Jenkins (the actor who played Kelso) return. The only issues will be his health. We have no doubt that he wants to be a part of this.

Man that’s terrible. He was just 56, cancer. Just looked him up, Sam Lloyd, had no idea he was Christopher Lloyd’s nephew.

Do yourself a favor and watch the original series now and stop once you get to the end of Season 8.
I just started a rewatch after the announcement of the reboot. The show still holds up so well, even 20 years later.

I'd watch the original from the start so you' have context. Watching the reboot will give you nothing on who the characters are and what's happened.
And yes, the show is a journey of the lives of several, JD as a main character, but also those around him.

The wife and I did a re-watch a couple of years ago, it was great.
Currently doing a re-watch of Cheers. Still in S1 but it also holds up incredibly well.
