I was going to take my son to see Creed II tonight. Checked showtimes and saw that Schindler’s List was playing. I pivoted and took him to see that instead.

After 25 years, it was powerful to see in a movie theater again and with a different perspective. If you have the opportunity to go see it, I recommend you do so.

It’s been on Netflix for a while but went to see it again in theaters this morning and it was still amazing.

Probably the greatest movie I haven’t seen.

We saw it too. Surprised at the small audience (though it was a slow night for movies in general).

Friday night and making out during Schindler's List is frowned upon.

That's quite the jump. A semi-lighthearted movie about a boxer vs. easily one of the saddest movies ever made. Jesus.

Schindler's list? With your kid? Over a Rocky movie? Yikes.

You gonna make him watch Requiem For a Dream or Hotel Rwanda tomorrow instead of cartoons?

He’s 15. It’s not like I took my 10 year-old. He’s suffered through some bullying, actual bullying, in his life that was detrimental. While the movie is sad, it also teaches the insurmountable lengths some people will go to go to do good and how mentally strong people can be to survive when they need to.

Actually, I let him read about the movie on Commonsense Media and he said he wanted to see it. He’s seen Darkest Hour and some WWII documentaries as well.

If he's 15 he is old enough to try and watch it. I attempted to watch at 10 and didn't finish it.

It’s the type of film that my father would’ve insisted that I see even at a young age. He took me to see The Godfather when I was 11.

Bored me to tears when I was 18.

I really enjoy it now.

We have kids at work who at 15/16 take a Holocaust class as an elective. They typically watch it with the class. They handle it alright.

Great movie and yes, very powerful. Would love to see it in a movie theatre again.
