Sinister with Ethan hawke was pretty scary to me. Def the conjuring movies also.

Yeah, been there. Watched The Excorcist movie with my niece several years ago when she was 16 and she said it wasn't scary but "disturbing." Which it is. When I saw the original Nightmare on Elm Street, I didnt sleep for 3 days.

Try the 1st Conjuring movie or Event Horizon. EH really messed with my head even though I was in my 30s when I saw it.

The Witch wasn't exactly "scary" but definitely creepy and unnerving.

Sinister without a doubt is the scariest I’ve seen.

The Hills Have Eyes is up there too more so for the uncomfortable scenes.
