But even in The Dark Knight Returns, he has the equipment needed to beat the shite out of Superman...which he does awesomely.
I don't agree with that at all.
I think Batman's only advantage over Superman is his coldness and willingness to do what is necessary to end a fight and they took that away in MoS when Superman killed Zod. Batman is more intelligent but no amount of athleticism can match Superman's speed and power.

We should enjoy this thread. People should come here and celebrate Comic-Con. Anything else is for another thread. People need to hold their criticisms.
they should change the title of the thread to Updates and only happy thoughts instead of discussion then.

Well yeah, thats why I mentioned the equipment he wears in TDKR and the teaser footage.

Discussion is criticism too. Criticism is fine... to talk about the things that were presented but as soon as we get into the deep discussion we should drop it, it just bogs things down. Warfarer thinks it looks crappy, ok. Until he sees something else you can't change his mind. And we're done with that!
THe WW discussion was over fairly quickly and there was some criticism to be had.
And the board itself would be bogged down if we had 18 comic book threads from this.

WTF happened here? I leave for a few hours and come back, and it like walking in the middle of a bar fight up in here.

I'm not gonna drop it because someone who is not a Superman or Batman fan wants to be an a-hole.

no. you're not going to drop because your being a douchebag who is taking my opinions on a teaser personally. Because you are a super fan of DC comics doesn't mean shite. I see a lot of movies and enjoy movies in general and am pretty unbiased when going into movies.

So, looking at tomorrow's schedule there's the panel for The Following, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, and The Strain. Looks like they're also doing a 75th anniversary deal for Marvel too.

You don't think Batman is going to address this in DoJ when he's telling Superman, "yo dude, you can't be going around killing folks. That's not justice." Plus seeing as Clark is a mild mannered report of the Daily Planet, I'm sure killing someone when he has never killed before and destroying the only chance of saving the history and future of Krypton will probably frick with him psychologically.
And if they don't address any of that, I'll be the first to say they fricked it up. You can bookmark that shite.

Oh I didn't mind him killing Zod, in fact, I thought that is was pretty necessary to move the character forward in general. But them showing that he was willing (whether wanting to or not) to kill in order to save lives takes away a major advantage from Batman. Batman is willing to fight dirty and take cheap shots when he can to gain advantage but if Superman is willing to take a life to save 100 up front, where else will they take his character?

I guess nobody wants to make their own thread Freauxzen.
