But they have some hurdles to climb with both on screen at the same time. Comic books can do that easily. Films? Not so much.
The animated film was great. And I never said it was going to be easy. The Avengers wasn't easy. I like what I see so far.

what the frick dude? Are you just an a-hole in general? That scene doesn't do shite for me. Doesn't mean that I won't get excited about a full trailer when they piece it together. I stated my opinion on a matter and you are acting like I am bashing your work personally.

You should be a director.

Then don't be offended if no one takes your opinion seriously.

What does one have to do with the other?

Look, this isn't the thread for it.

This has been a common reaction for both MoS and BvS. One comment and....

Out of respect for Freuzen, I'll hold my tongue. I got a little fired up there.

shite, I thought we were all friends here and having a good time talking about comic con.

I liked it when there were only three people talking in this thread.

Why don't we make a thread this week and get it all out.

"DC's Movies: An Honest Discussion"

Their shows and animated films/series are great. It's the films that puzzle most skeptics.

Air it all in one go instead of the small discussions in every thread.

I don't get how they co-exist in screen. In MOS he moves so fast that Batman would look ridiculous next to him. What value physically does he add, zero right? The costume in those stills he look like the hulk buster from IM3.

I am not a comic book reader but I don't see how you fit a human superhero like Batman into Snyder's universe, unless he acts solely as the brains or wears Kryptonite underwear.

Now Freauxzen ain't even like that. Look at my above post and his quotes.

I mean you're an openly Marvel fanboy that takes more than enough shots at DC when given the chance but even you have been very civil to their unavailing of DoJ stuff in this thread.

See this is the stuff that should be discussed in said thread.

They riled each other up and you jumped in too. Everyone was getting snippy.

I am critical of two things: MoS and BvS/their supposed strategy. I love everything else they do almost unequivocally (I've even seen Green Lantern TWICE! Anyone with me?? Who else has wasted 4 hours because they just like GL too much?). And the reason I'm a little critical is because I want them to do it so well.

I don't take pot shots, but they are perceived that way. It's just criticisms, that's it. Wayfarer was right when he said that some people take those criticisms personally.

That was one of the things Nolan missed out on with Bruce Wayne in his films. Bruce is a very intelligent guy and an olympic athlete pretty much.

But even in The Dark Knight Returns, he has the equipment needed to beat the shite out of Superman...which he does awesomely.
