She was last seen at 23% and so RT shills went and removed it. Can no longer vote.

They did it for all movies. Already several videos about it on YouTube. Changed the whole option because CM was tanking in terms of interest. Basically the exact thing that Netflix did to protect Amy Schumer’s awful special.

Nice job, Brie. Nice job.

Sure, her comments were bullshite. But you honestly think only 23% of people want to see it because of those comments?

I’d find it more likely people don’t want to see it because Larson’s acting looks wooden and stale. At least with Black Panther, while significantly overrated, had Chadwick Boseman, who acted circles around most of his cast. No, I think the 23% of people wanting to see it is just retards and nerds that have no lives that are just spamming it in hopes in tanks. Larson’s comments won’t be the reason the movie sucks and fails.

If it sucks and fails it will be because she’s kind of an overrated actress that had a horrible performance and can’t carry her own flick. shite, if it sucks bad enough, which it might, they might have to pair her with Nick Fury or the Guardians or someone like that so she doesn’t have to carry a movie by herself

You people really don't pay attention to much outside your little bubble do you?

I've been seeing headlines for days about people using the "want to see" option as a venue for protesting the perceived "with her" feminist agenda they assume the movie is going to push. It's been skewed so much that it is no where close to an accurate assessment of true interest in the movie.

The most recent trailer I saw with her talking to Fury on a rooftop looks horrendous. And to be obnoxious for a moment:

The tag line of the most recent trailer is "There's a new captain". That is an obvious and direct dig towards Captain America. frick that.

Her sitting in the car with Fury and saying "Noble Warrior Heros" reminds me of Jack Kelly talking to the Harvard Lawyer and saying "we're lawyers"

So a bunch of people who don't want to see the movie have been clicking the we don't want to see the movie button and you think this is some kind of inaccurate screw job?

To be fair, that was always an idiotic metric to have on a web site.

It's no secret that there have been movies overloaded with fake reviews from troll accounts. This movie had multiple negative reviews months ago.

"I still don't know what she said to start all of this hullabaloo"

Short summary: Terrible actress, can't handle the role, bad previews, tells her principle target audience if they don't like the movie they can shut it. Modus operandi of Disney big budget films the last few years. Now they seem to be shutting down negative comments/reviews. This will be an entertaining goat rope.

Are you talking about when she said she wanted more diversity included in press tours? That was hardly an attack.

This movie looks like shite though. I’ll be seeing it.

The sad thing is if this movie flops, Disney execs will think, “Well, looks like audiences don’t want Marvel stand-alone movies,” and they will take projects off the board.

Same thing they said about Star Wars when Solo underperformed.

Fanboys are their own worst enemies sometimes.

That’s not to say you should see the movie if you don’t like the star or what she had to say. That’s your right and I support it. Just pointing out what’s going to happen.

The next phase of Marvel superhero movies is headed toward trouble.

When phase 1 started (Pre-Disney) it was lightning in a bottle with RDJ as Iron Man and Chris Evans coming into his own in Winter Soldier (as well as Hemsworth doing well as Thor and finally being able to find a serviceable Hulk). Add in Hawk Eye and you have a bunch of white dudes and ScarJo.

What’s my point? It’s clear Marvel’s agenda was initially to make Marvel movies as they were in the comics and focus on the stories/entertainment aspect.

They stayed away at first (because it was pre-established and overwhelmingly working) but as Disney’s influence has grown in the last few years we are starting to see the SJW TLJ trend where message trumps story. People see through that over time and it doesn’t help when their lead actress comes out preaching down to white men as racist misogynistic pigs because she can’t act.

I don't either. Nearly all of the google results are either people white knighting for her or her "clarifying" her statements. Best I can tell these are some of her original statements-
quote:

About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be overwhelmingly white male. So, I spoke to Dr Stacy Smith at the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, who put together a study to confirm that. Moving forward, I decided to make sure my press days were more inclusive. After speaking with you, the film critic Valerie Complex and a few other women of colour, it sounded like across the board they weren’t getting the same opportunities as others. When I talked to the facilities that weren’t providing it, they all had different excuses.
quote:

don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time. It wasn’t made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color, to teens that are biracial.
So it looks like she didn't like the fact that the press pool was lacking of black women, then asked some "diversity" group to back her up on that, then went as far to insinuate that if you're white and don't like her stuff then you're the problem.

Why these dumb-asses can't just read their lines and answer basic questions with basic answers, I'll never know. It's like they're all in some competition to see who can virtue signal the most.

BTW - this is low-key racism from the left. The idea that people of color need to have their white saviors fight for them is the epitome of "I'm better than you" thought.

She said she'd like to see more than just white men review films targeted at women of color.

Insecure white dudes everywhere lost their shite.
