I've noticed DisplacedBuckeye never actually talks about movies here, just what he thinks the political angle is. All he does is spam this board with his favorite word "melt."

Enh, maybe it was because of a concerted troll attack or maybe because, as many have said, the trailers haven't really got people fired up to see this sucker.
As to the whole SJW argument going on... can't y'all find another dead horse to beat? A third of the country is liberal, a third is conservative, and a third is stuck listening to both sides whine and cry.
I never thought I'd say this but I miss the days the two sides argued about whether Obama was an actual citizen or not.
Regardless, Captain Marvel will be out soon and we will be getting some non fanboy reviews in to let us know if the movie is bad or if the people who edited the trailers need to be taken out back and shot.
From what I've seen I'm going to go with Brie Larson being thoroughly underwhelming in the movie but the SFX being nice eye candy while the Nick Fury and Phil Coulson characters do the heavy lifting as far as entertainment.
In other words something I'll catch on streaming.

If the Rock made comments, and people purposely mischaracterized his comments to satisfy their need to be outraged, I'd make fun of those people too.
But nobody did that here with the Rocks comments.
