Seinfeld should be #1.

It was basically the perfect sitcom from roughly Season 3 all the way through to its finale. It's one of the most referenced and referenceable pieces of entertainment ever.

That's true. But it is.

I’d agree with the top 3. So that’s as good as I’ll get in these lists.

. 'Parks and Recreation' (NBC, 2009-2015)

I like Parks, but this is way too high

Parks higher than The Office?

WTF?

ETA: this is clearly a troll article to create clicks. That's the only way they could miss this bad.

On what planet is Friends a better show than Barney Miller?

I'm a fan of both shows, but ranking Parks and Recreation well ahead of The Office is like saying Coldplay is a far better band than Radiohead. It's just dumb.

Also, The Simpsons has hung around at the party far, far too long to be considered for the top slot.

I'd like to see more love for Everybody Loves Raymond and The King of Queens. Those are the "realest" shows ever; they should be screened in marriage preparatory classes.

I'm not reading that list if the Office isn't top 10. It makes no sense to leave it out of the top 10. Its peak seasons are the highest tier of comedy that you can attain for a show.

Somehow, there's children's fare like Bluey and Phineas and Ferb on this list. That's ridiculous.

When you see Night Court ranked as low as 97th, you know this thing's gonna have issues.

Parks and the Simpsons are the only ones in the top 9 that I would consider watching an episode of if I came across it.

Agree with this and I loved the Simpsons.

I think shows need to be penalized a little for hanging around too long, jumping the shark, etc.

The Simpsons got to the point where they pissed off their core fan group who grew up with that show in the 90s and it's iconic humor. I guess someone is still watching it but I'm not sure who.

Seinfeld was smart and tied off the balloon before the show got stale. He gets the top spot.

I'm not even sure Simpsons holds the top animated spot. Seasons 3-10 are perhaps the best TV ever but it's bee all downhill for a long, long time. Meanwhile Southpark was never as good as peak Simpsons but they have kept a high batting average for a long, long time.

The Office is my favorite show of all time, and at its peak is a tier one comedy. That said, the final seasons do tarnish it a bit.

Calling the Simpsons a sitcom is a little out there for me. The only cartoon I feel comfortable with that label is probably King of the Hill. I guess Bob's Burgers too, because it's basically the Perfect Dark to KotH's Goldeneye.

Schitt's Creek (100), Barney Miller (51), Veep (44) are all way too low.

Alda had made the show so damned preachy and unfunny in the latter half that even as a kid I got bored watching it.

You got that right, Alda's holier than thou attitude was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Yeah Parks is pretty good but Top 10 all-time?

Might as well put 30 Rock in the Top 10 along with Better Off Ted.

And finally the debate has been settled.

Cheers is better than Seinfeld.
