ER not even on the list. Should be top 10 minimum.

Not really a sitcom....unless you think overly dramatic office politics and catfighting amongst hospital staff while horribly injured patients die in front of them is funny.

I would rank them thusly:

1.The 'Classic 39' of The Honeymooners 1955-56 CBS

2.The Dick Van Dyke Show 1961-66

3.I Love Lucy 1951-57

4.The Bob Newhart Show 1971-75

5.The Mary Tyler Moore Show 1971-77

6.Andy Griffith 1960-66

7.All In The Family 1970-77

8.Gomer Pyle 1965-69

9.Seinfeld

10.The Munsters

11.I Dream of Jeannie

12.Everybody Loves Raymond

13.Sanford and Son
You have to be 100 years old. Only two shows in the last 30 years in your top 30?

That's nonsense.

I stopped at Sanford and Son because I think it's one of the most underrated shows overall and is definitely in my top 20, likely top 10 range.

I'm not shitting on the shows you named, they're all good, but damn, there have been some solid comedies post-1990 mate.

I didn't hit up the Rolling Stones link.

But to your point, 30 Rock is another top 10-20 for me. Take anyone's politics aside, Alec Baldwin nailed it as corporate America (which is in itself hilarious knowing him). Tina Fey is awesome for writing the how and being the clumsy female that dates Jon Hamm, James Franco, James Marsden, etc. Let alone Tracy Jordan/Morgan and the rest of the cast.

30 Rock was outstanding. Critics always liked it but never quite the mainstream audience success it deserved.

This is the Saturday lineup in 1973-74.

I'm assuming it only lasted that one season and Strange that so many great shows were on a Saturday nt.

CBS obviously wised up when they realized what they had and moved All in the Family and MASH to more viewer friendly nights.

Could sworn Carol Burnett was on Sunday as well.

I have a few comedies to rewatch on binge. 30 Rock is one of the easiest binge shows ever. I literally rewatched it a few months ago and it's such an easy binge.

I'm pretty open about being a huge fan of Mike Schur (Mose - The Office), Parks, B99, Good Place, etc. But I was really surprised how 30 Rock just flowed. Maybe people don't like Baldwin or Fey, but it's a fun watch.
