ETA: Also, if Mothma has the plans for the death star like it looks like in the trailer, doesn't it ruin continuity with ANH? Isn't that where Leia is taking the plans at the beginning of the movie?
My guess is the hologram in the trailer is just a "blurry picture" of it. The plans they steal are the blueprints and allow the Rebels to figure out its weak spot.

Obi Wan is alive and only like 60 years old during this movie
Um ok. Statue could have been erected 20 or so years ago during the Clone Wars where he was known as a hero and then it's toppled at the end of the war when the Empire was formed and the Jedi were eradicated.

I think it's just a generic Jedi. Looks way older than the the saga timeline. Besides, if it was made in the Clone Wars, it would be a young Obi Wan. That statue looks like an old man.

No, it really couldn't have been.

What's frustrating about this movie is that both Obi-Won and Yoda are alive and we won't see them.

Why do we have to see EVERYBODY in the Star Wars universe? I hate how they try to shrink down the galaxy in prequels to where everyone will eventually run into each other.

Why? It's a UNIVERSE. It's okay to not come across two people that you know from before. Fans need to let go and Star Wars can finally start exploring its unlimited stories.

Hate to bUst bubbles but Vader is barely in this. A couple of talking scenes with krenick. Less than 1 minute of screen time.

If these frickers could make an original story then these movies could be as good as the originals.
The first Star Wars movie wasn't exactly an "original story." See: The Hidden Fortress
I get what you are saying. Just set a movie from the Old Republic with characters that have never been on the big screen. It would be successful, but I think what draws the masses is having the direct tie in with characters they already know and love.

Possible, but ANH, it is pretty much made to seem that nobody has any idea what the death star is, so I doubt they have a picture. All the rebels knew that the Empire was testing a new weapon, and were hoping to find a way to destroy it.
eta: The hologram looks pretty similar to the one in ROTJ.

NOT THE YOUNGLINGS!
But yes. I am also in the I hope Vader kills everyone camp.
Rumors are he's only in like one scene.
My hope is the rebels make it all the way there, steal the plans, and Vader shows up. One guy takes off with the plans and the rest stay to fight. Vader slaughters them all.
He wouldn't have a problem letting that one guy go because "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

I kept thinking this was the next Star Wars movie(in series). But kept wondering why the chick from last was not in it.
I like the fact that they are branching off into story modes. Han movie is next in the series.
