1st act, I hope. If it's what the leak plot says this film will somehow manage to be almost as bad as TLJ. Wholly unsatisfying except for the fact we'll get an actual lightsaber duel.

It has been said that this will be the last movie of the entire Skywalker storyline. If so, the only way to end it is for both Rey and Kylo to die. Rey turns dark due to some “resurrection ” of the Emperor, but someone has to “learn” and defeat what has been previously been undefeated. Kylo killed his father And it’s not redeemable from a long term character perspective. Just like DV killed Obi and was no longer a salvageable character long term, “Anakin Skywalker” rose within him and defeated the undefeated Emperor. Kylo , like Anakin, will learn causing Ben Solo (Skywalker) to rise and defeat Rey/ the Emperor. Just like Anakin he will die of the wounds inflicted during the fight , ending the Skywalker storyline.

If you go back and read my tirades on TLJ (no one will) you’ll see I predicted an outside threat was necessary to redeem this trilogy. I figured Abrams would find a way to pull one out of his butt.
I didn’t think he’d go so far as to make it the same threat from RoTJ but we are talking about the same guy who remade a New Hope with TFA so I guess I’m not surprised.

This was obvious. No one takes Kylo serious as the main villain. Especially not after getting beat by untrained Rey twice

I’m still bothered by Palpatine. If he’s alive (or at least able to influence force users), then doesn’t that undo Anakin being the Chosen One who destroyed the Sith by killing Palpatine and turning away from the Dark Side himself?
