I really enjoy these types of movies but struggle to find goods to go back and watch.

Watched it and thought it was worse than the last. Easy to pick out the culprit, and yet at the same time the killings get more ridiculous. Dumb.

Saw it last night.

Like it more than the first two and I really liked the first one.

This is the third one, and I'm sure Netflix will want more

This is the end of the Netflix deal. That doesn't mean Netflix won't try to resign them but Johnson can take them anywhere he wants and he seems to want a theatrical run.

Shitty imitations of it.

I liked it, big improvement from the second film. The first knives out is still the best one, IMO.

Yeah.. I enjoyed it.
The reveal wasn't anything spectacular but it was satisfying.

Wasn't as disrespectful to religion as I thought it would be. Rian still can't help himself to include idiot right wing stereotypes (the Andrew Scott and Daryl McCormack characters). Josh O'Connor was fantastic.

My issue with the reveal is the movie hides or straight up lies to you about what you are seeing on screen, so you can't really figure out who's behind the actual crime.

The entire theme of the movie is that all the sins of modern society most commonly associated with progressivism are really just victims of antiquated bigoted perversions of Christianity. But churches that disregard those teachings are good. This was displayed ham handedly in the back and forth between Wicks and Jud. Wicks general points in that argument were essentially valid but delivered as a villain, which gives away the writers intent.

I agree that he wrapped it all in pseudo respect for religion to make it effective but it was pretty on the nose.

Josh O'Connor was fantastic.

Besides being supremely likable as to be a persuasive archetype for the “new progressive church” I agree. He captured the priestly disposition incredibly well and I was very impressed.

Rian Johnson is half as clever as he thinks he is which is still clever enough to make a watchable flick.

1, 3, 2 (didn’t like the chaotic ending).

Will watch a 4th if they make one.
