The only plus side at this point is that the prequels are now looking less-horrible in comparison. Other than that... the original concept has been diluted down to being store brand entertainment mayonnaise. If we get a good movie, great. Another sucky chapter in this Star Wars afterlife? I agree. TLJ's humor was lazy, sloppy, and forced. Han's was organic and fit the character. That's why I think Solo should be a funny movie.

Han wasn't funny. He was sarcastic. That is why lord and Miller were fired apparently. They tried to make him a comedian.

My biggest fear with this movie is that it is going to paint Han as a fun loving hero of the day. This just shits on the redemption story that arced across the original trilogy. He didn't shoot first because he thought he was about to get shot. He shot first because he was not a good person.

This. Han should be morally grey. If he's "the hero", it's only to save his own skin or turn a profit. He's a rogue, a classic outlaw from a Western.
Unpopular opinion: Han Solo and Tommy Lillard from "The Frisco Kid" are the same character.

Because every marvel movie shoehorns comedy at every turn and they make tons of money and get good RT scores. Idiots lap it up so they have made the same movie 50 times and have decided to make marvel movies with a Star Wars name. Thanks comic book fans

I love Star Wars, but if the audience rating on RT sucks I plan on skipping it.
