I think Black Widow gets a bad wrap but Thor: Love and Thunder, Antman Quantumania, and that CA are terrible.

At least it wasn't as bad as the TV show.

That's all I got.

Should have been Bucky first. We could have gotten a Bucky / New Black Widow vs. crazy Russian assassins. While he is getting with her and playing Captain America, he still goes Winter Badass at night. It's a good comic book run.

Question, will I need to watch this to get caught up with anything that might pop up in Doomsday? Or was it pretty much a standalone film?

It introduces Adamantium into the MCU. There you're caught up.

Thor love and thunder is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Captain America BNW is like the godfather compared to it. Black widow was solid. Never watched Ant Man. With all that said love the new direction and highly looking forward to spiderman and avengers.

Is the worst MCU film. . .by a huge margin

All other bad ones are really just meh

Love and Thunder is aggressively awful

Nothing happens that will be important

Falcon is Cap

His suit is plot armor. . .shield is a pointless prop

the end

One of the BEST in the MCU.

Did you catch the Liam Hemsworth and Matt Damon cameos?

It was a terrible Thor movie.
Marvel saw the relatively tepid response to the first two Thor movies where he played it fairly straight. This was in stark contrast to the breakout star RDJ already was as the snarky, wisecracking Tony Stark. So, if witty banter works for one character, it'll really work if we shovel piles of it on another character. Ragnarok might as well have been a Hope and Crosby Road picture.
Then, the complete emasculation of the God of Thunder. The most powerful Avenger who can take the full blast of a star is subdued by a chick with taser discs. Then, he cries like an 8th grade girl who didn't get a pony for Christmas when he's about to meet the Goldblum Master. There is no way Thor acts or reacts like that. The damage Waititi did to the character, the Russo's completely finished off with The Great Thorbowski.
I also remember all the self-styled cinemaphiles on here going on and on about how the Snyderverse went overboard with CGI. Then, this movie comes out and it looks like a Hanna-Barbera production. Especially the fighting arena scenes. Laughable.

*Having said that, this movie did have one of the singular most bad arse moments in the MCU. Thor. Zeppelin. Perfection.

I don’t know if I would even place Love & Thunder and Quantumania in the same category with Brave New World

Those first two are disappointing and bad in parts, but BNW is just straight up forgettable.

The first five minutes were great. The rest was Adam West - Batman stuff.

Don't disparage Adam West like that.

I think it's just too shitty to be forgettable. Absolute bottom of the mcu barrel for me, with Eternals and Quantumania.
