Last week I dropped Dish after, what, 3 months of no HBO? They tried to give me shite about muhcontract but THEY were in violation, not me. Nice try, assholes.

Dish dude came by to take the dish down and Hopper equipment, asked who I went with for service. (U-Verse) Then he whispers,
"Yeah, me too. fricking Winter is coming."

S4, Ep 6. Ready for Tyrion to do his chain dance and then berate the court.

Can see some echo from his false accusations by Lady Stark and the crazy Arryn lady in season 1.
The trial by combat doesnt work out for him this time.

Yep. You can get HBO NOW as a stand alone package on your devices though without going through cable/DirecTV, etc.

It’s sad how many of you hodors can’t read the books for yourselves and only have a superficial understanding of the lore

Reminds me of Plato’s allegory of the cave. Maybe you non book readers would prefer watching wrestling instead

A Firestick loaded with Kodi is a wonderful thing.

Amazon Prime Video offers HBO for a good price. Pretty slick the way they integrate the premium channels amongst their content.

GoT is the most pirated show in history. I'm sure you could find it somewhere

Just finished season 6 on Sunday. Wife doesn't watch, and I've got a 2 year old and 5 week old at home. So I try to knock out an a few episodes on the weekend when the rest of the house is sleeping/napping.
I've got plenty of time to knock out the last season - so haven't had to resort to watching on my phone during lunch breaks.

That horse image that everyone upvotes is really inaccurate. Season 6 was amazing and had 2 of the best episodes of television ever.

I do agree with this. Even the relatively weaker seasons (5 and 7) still have two or three of the best television episodes of the year.

I don’t think season one is the best season by any means.

I assume you’re talking about “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter”. I disagree that either are even the best Game of Thrones episodes, but they represent the major issues with seasons 5-8. D&D are good at executing the broad strokes. They are less good at executing the smaller strokes on the way. Because they’re privy to the major plot points that will be in Winds and Dream, the major events in seasons 5-7 have been good and likely will be in season 8... but they stumble and fumble their way there at times.

I agree with a lot of this, but The Winds of Winter was a damn masterpiece from start to finish.

The only thing I really had an issue with in season 6 was Arya running away from the Waif after getting gutted.
