Gonna be quite the transition from that to hanging out with spiderman and getting webbed at for cursing

For the "I can't believe Punisher is on Disney" crowd, I'd say the mouse showed them. That was brutal intensity, both from violence and PTSD/emotion.
Also, iwy, hit me up on FB messenger. That underpass looked really familiar

The more I think about the show the more I like it. Dude had no purpose, no family, only rage turned inward. I think we saw his final transformation into THE Punisher.

Really enjoyed that. Saw a lot of people complaining it was too short, but for what it was, I think it was a good length. Hopefully this is a jumping off point for a series.

Enjoyed it immensely, but really, what's the point?
When is this taking place? Before he showed up in DDBA? After? Right before the new Spiderman movie later this year?
Seems like the last scene indicated he had been active in the neighborhood for a while. Did he address the loose string?

Anyone else frustrated it had to be a group of white punks messing with the minorities again?

The ones on the apartment building were quite diverse.
But, yea, the ADT trope is getting old.

you read the comics, you know the Punisher has feelings. shite that's what makes him.
So I am familiar with the character.
Never seen him spend an entire issue moping around and talking about his feelings. Mostly investigating, planning, executing.
Punisher is pure purpose and determination. . .with the occasional page or 2 of him dealing with some shite.
I like Berenthal's Punisher. Just the one complaint, really

I liked it, it is a fun watch. Lots of inner turmoil not sure if I would rewatch it.

Watching the Punisher brutally murder 8 people to Hatebreed was pretty amazing

I watched it last night for the first time. That was great. I was not expecting that much violence.

Well, he shoulda smoked a specific bitch at some point. It was OK, and I'm a Punisher fan.

This was a great one-shot. We pick up with Frank after he's killed the entirety of the crime family who took out his family. He's alone and all he has left is the rage which hasn't yet been sated.
He turns that rage inward, ignoring the fall of the world around him. And that world has fallen badly.
And then, right as he's struggling at his lowest, he's given a reason to re-focus. That refocus is immensely satisfying as Berenthal's portrayal really underscores a feeling of primal rage as he visits ultra-violence onto those who are a part of society's fracturing (example: the fight with the tatt'ed up guy).
I needed a cigarette at the end of that and I don't even smoke.

We did a Berenthal fricked up character double feature last night. Watched Punisher OLK and the one off Bear prequel episode with him and cousin. Enjoyed both. He plays a fricked up suicidal dude in both just different types of fricked up and self destructive.
