Whether watching Mission Impossible (any) or The Firm, we always yell out “RUN, Tom Cruise, RUN!!” That bastard is always running full out. Like it is in his contract…must run.

Some of you don’t understand the task here. Playing characters that look different but act mostly the same doesn’t qualify. Margo Robbie always plays the hot crazy chick
Tom cruise always plays running man serious actor - except in Tropic Thunder, which wasn’t even cited

Question for the crowd: Does Nic Cage have great range, or does he generally play two characters: extremely wacky/lunatic character or quiet/low key personality (National Treasure)
I’d say he has the two types of characters. He either turns his own personality on or off, then adapts it to the character he’s playing

Good call.
Bob Odenkirk as Saul and any of his other roles.

What I was thinking. Range isn't age or different looking character and much as across genres Comedy-> Romance -> Thriller -> Musical -> Action -> Stage

Bale wins
Had to post this pic cuz Empire of the Sun is one of the best movies.
