There are few real critics anymore. It’s all news sites with writers masquerading as critics or outright fanboys pretending to be impartial.

How they assemble reviews and grading is dookie. The same critic can give 2 movies a 3/5 and on one they’ll count it as a fresh and the other rotten.

Yep. Rotten Tomatoes is a horrible system, that produces a horrible metric, and on top of that the horrible metric is completely misunderstood by the general population.
It's fundamental flaw is that marginally good movies are vastly overrated and marginally bad movies are vastly underrated.
