I remember a time when you could enjoy—or not enjoy—a movie based on its merits. Now we have to worry about the politics of casting, the social implications of the film and even the validity of the reviewing process. The joy is being sucked out of pretty much everything.

The best way to handle it is to not play the game yourself.

That includes admitting that you enjoyed or disliked anything.

Anyone remember when you could watch Family Feud as a kid.
Have you watched it lately? When did it become so vulgar?

I have no trouble enjoying or not enjoying a movie based on its merits. Nobody has EVER forced me to "worry about the politics of casting, the social implications of the film and even the validity of the reviewing process." Who is doing that to poor oppressed Pat Sajak?

No Pat. You don't actually have to worry about any of that.

Social Justice Warriors are the enemy of freedom and, therefore, the USA. They should be eradicated like the plague of vermin they are.

Sajak is based AF... He's the tamer, milder James Woods on twitter.

BTW, Sajak's CBS Late Night show was a decent watch. But it was more Jack Parr or Dick Cavett, and that no longer flies on network TV (especially in the Arsenio Hall era).

Filmmakers are taking advantage of this climate too. All you have to do is market your movie as being a champion of some social cause, even if there's almost nothing in the actual movie about it, and the reviewers and media feel the need to prop it up.

You had many reviewers downright scared or intimitated from giving the Ghostbusters reboot or Black Panther anything other than 10/10 because it was your SJW duty to see them succeed.

Sajak is a really decent person. It's rare. And his show would have killed in a earlier time. Meaning earlier decades.

This is why I think Brie Larson made her comments on purpose

I seriously think going forward studios are going to purposely make SJW laced comments meant to stir up a hornets nest in order to blackmail reviewers into giving favorable reviews.

Good choice calling them "reviewers", because if they're scared they're definitely not real critics.

Dawson was an equal opportunity kisser.

The creepy AF guy was that game show host that was always trying to kiss little girls.
