Thinking with his other head got thousands killed, including his not-a-bitch brother.

The one change I didn't like in this adaptation was Paris surviving the Trojan War. He did not deserve a happy ending considering his actions in Sparta ultimately got his father and brother killed. That's not even mentioning the tens of thousands of his fellow countrymen who ended up being killed, raped, or enslaved by the victorious Greeks.

I can’t really blame him.

Dude was slamming the greatest piece in the land

I’d want to stay alive for that too

He got to smash Helen silly though. I view it as an absolute win. Cucked an entire empire.

You can’t convince me otherwise that Diane Kruger wasn’t one of the most beautiful women in the world while she filmed that movie

His not a bitch brother should've driven his sword straight through his shoulder blades.

As the other king said it wouldn’t have mattered at that point, he had his casus belli and the revenge was just a bonus.

He cucked the King of Sparta, banged Helen and killed Achilles. Sounds like an alpha to me.

I seem to remember something a few years back that some AI ranked her face as the most symmetrically beautiful face.

I was pretty ragey over Eric Bana getting killed. He’s up there with Henry Cavill for me

In her Troy clothing and makeup, absolutely. She still beautiful but in that setting she's damn near a 10.

Diane Kruger was an intellectual smokeshow in National Treasure

Doesn't matter. In the long run the Romans and then the Turks ended up owning the place anyway.

I saw an interview with Orlando Bloom years ago. He said he couldn't watch that movie because his character is unbearable. It might of been the Graham Norton show.

Agreed.

And he doesn’t come off like that in the actual Illiad IMO.

Even though I’ve read the Illiad and know the story I was still really mad when Paris killed Achilles because that guy didn’t deserve it. Also in the real story the gods guide the arrow so he really doesn’t get the credit but he gets it all in the story.

Same. That scene around sunset makes her look incredible.

I really like Bana.

But the Hector character is something of a metaphor of male servitude and duty. Even a prince may be called upon to sacrifice his life for family or country
