Does it ever pivot away from every episode being about who will rape or otherwise sex up Claire? Gabaldon must think all men are misogynists.

I thought you were gonna ask “is this what it feels like to be gay?”

You haven’t gotten to the worse rape scene in the last season but like game of thrones the nude scenes slow down

After that scene I quit watching. I am FAR from a prude or unable to watch tough scenes. But that was just sick on so many levels. It was already stalling some, and that took it to a place I just didn't need to see more of.

Yes. Eventually every episode will be about who will rape or sex up her daughter.

Stop worrying about the plot and just enjoy the fact that your significant other will always be in the mood after watching the show.

Yeah, my old lady (no pics) likes that show and you're right, for such an average looking chic everyone does seem to want to frick Claire. I actually kind of enjoyed the first season but it went downhill in a hurry afterwards, at least for me.

The time travel aspect of it is great, as is the interactions with people from the older eras. As a 62 year old, unmarried man, I don't need the sex scenes. It gets old after awhile.

Poldark is similar period series that your wife might enjoy.

Don't confuse Poldark with "Dark Pole"!

I just started season 4 yesterday, but it gets a lot less rapey as time goes on. It still comes up a lot, but not as much.

There is a lot of unnecessary sex scenes, or scenes that were seem solely there for the lonely middle age housewife.

Overall have been really enjoying the show, although some things at the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4 has been a little ridiculous/frustrating.

Yes, it pivots to all the other characters getting raped.

It sounds like I'm being flippant or exaggerating - I'm not. I mean every character.

My wife is a big fan of the show; I sometimes watch along with her. There is lots and lots of rape on Outlander beyond the first season. It's quite disturbing and does little to promote sexy time after watching in bed.

Claire was likely an OT 10 in those times.

Someone’s getting their dick lopped off and then fed? Or at least mind fricking so much you think you’re getting your dick eaten?

Raped and tortured so much you begin falling in love with your rapist because when he rapes you he isn't bringing you to the edge of death by physical mutilation.

So yeah, kinda.

Uh what. She's pretty fricking hot in my opinion.

I know you're knee deep in Victoria Secret models though
