I can call don’t look up political but OUaTiH wasn’t political at all and KoftFM was a bit but it’s a very interesting true story.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a typical Hollywood liberal in a bubble but I don’t get that from his recent roles.

Hilarious that I bought this on Amazon for $20 just because PTA, Leo, and Benicio lol It didn’t make me seethe like alot of people here but very low chance I watch again. Maybe in a year or two to see if my take changed

watched it last night I enjoyed it. It wasn’t as funny as the trailer made it out to be, I was disappointed in that. The last third of the film felt like it ran out of gas.
del toro was fantastic he really is an amazing actor. The sequence in his house when the raid was in progress was the best part of the movie, both from an acting and cinematography standpoint. Good movie, not great and not even close to PTAs admittedly high bar

Inherent Vice and this one are the weakest entries in PTA filmography. He needs to stay away from Pynchon.
