If anyone is old enough for Dallas, this is the Aaron Spelling model of TV, make as many closely related shows as possible to your lead and you have almost the same character development.
We even had the "who shot John episode"
And? We all loved Dallas.

Why wasn't jimmy in these first 2? Last thing i remember about him was the girl fight.
He went back to Texas, for the Four Sixes spin off.
And pretty please, let him stay there!

This is the thing. Why are y'all expecting Breaking Bad/Mad Men? That's not what this show is. I loved Dallas back in the day. I love Yellowstone.

Seems like something thrown in to appeal to the woman audience. I’m sure it’s a terrible situation, but did Yellowstone really need that?
As part of the woman audience...I'm not here for that either. I don't know WTF they were thinking.

This show just keeps lowering the bar.
This. Y'all, I loved this show. I truly did. And I'll keep watching. But the bar fight? The ridiculous wreck causing the baby's death? That whole weird grieving thing? They really should do more with John Dutton, dial Beth back a little (because she was fabulous earlier in the show). She doesn't need a major fight every single episode. It makes the good ones worthless. It would be better if they spent a little more time on the actual relationships like they did in the beginning. It makes be sad to see what this is becoming.
I was hoping to never see another barrel racer.

Dumb episode last night.
Lawd, the dialogue...
Rip: Because the bars in Bozeman are filled with fake cowboys. Real cowboys don't mix with fake cowboys. And real cowboys will always fight fake cowboys.
Beth: Well, let's go cowboys
At the bar:
Beth: Give me 12 shots of whiskey and 12 beers for these cowboys.
Rip (upon seeing the real cowboy at the end of the bar): Give that cowboy a shot of whiskey.
Real cowboy: Every seat in this place used to be filled with real cowboys
Rip: yeah, nice seeing you, cowboy
Real Cowboy: Later, pard.
Female singer: There's my cowboy.

They would go to Livingston anyway, not Bozeman.
Pretty sure they film in Livingston anyway where the main drag has angled parking. Bozeman main street is parallel parking.

The majority of the show is filmed in Utah. Kinda strange, but Justified was filmed in California, so who knows.

They moved filming to Montana at some point (I think before season 4) because of complaints about it being filmed in Utah.

Does anyone else think that they should have just come clean about the wolves? They had proof that the wolves were eating their livestock. I mean, the coverup is almost always worse than the crime.. Right?

They didn't though, and I think that's going to be a twist in the story. They were debating with each other about that. Then there were flashbacks to cows getting poisoned with those chemicals. There's some connection there that's going to be revealed at some point.

My wife said the same thing. She's a woman. Are you a woman?
I'm a man. You know what i said? Damn them titties are fricking nice. And i stared at them the entire time thinking i hadn't seen her titties in a while, and wondering if they were ever going to show them again, so instead of waiting for that to happen, which it likely won't, i just googled them and took another gander at her beautiful breasts.
And i hate her and hope Jamie kills her, finds a way to politically take advantage of what John is doing to preserve the ranch and he becomes the owner of the Dutton Ranch.

Soldado? Just felt like a massive buildup that petered out.
Maybe it's my fault for expecting some kind of action thriller ending.

Mostly because at no point is the border between Montana and Canada a river.
While there's not official river that flows along the border and is considered the border, there are several instances where one side of a river/creek is Canada and the other the US. You have Boundary Creek and the St. Mary that does, and there's a few other rivers/creeks that while they flow North/South, they have enough east/west to them at the border for that scene to make sense.
Another example would be Lee Creek, and Middle Fork Lee Creek, as well as East Fork Lee Creek, and then you have a few instances with the Milk River.

The Disney villain midget frog voiced old lady doesn't get enough shine here. Her monologues are as bad as Beth. The market equities lawyer seemed to be written under the premise of what if Beth took showers.
And two episodes in a row they had TV footage of governor events that randomly lingered on Jamie frowning for 45 seconds so they could identify "wow, that's our weak link."
I'm waiting on 23 year old Tate to do his "awwwww, are you guys making babies again??!!!" routine in his baritone.

What did the camera zoom into after the wildlife agents decided to use the chopper and they rode out of the field?
I'd have to go back and watch it but I thought either a bullet or bone. The wardens knew they were there, but not that they died there.
ETA - went back and it's not a bullet. Looks like darkened socket, fur, or like other poster said poop.

You're technically right, but they wrote and filmed it as if the river was the border, even accusing Casey of being on "their side" at one point. It was lazy writing.
