"so we can take on this guy's band of pyschopaths, probably lose a few of our own for half of your food.....or kill these unarmed and admittedly untrained people and take it all....hmmmmm"

Just keeps with the theme... bad decisions.

Why farm for food when you have others that will do it for you?

maybe he's trying to make a Rosita/Abraham/Sasha tri-cultural threeway happen?
Without TV, Eugene needs something to watch.

When he almost killed the man, he then listened to what he had to say. The man talked about seeing or hearing the most important person to him, which was his wife who has passed away. When Abraham was being choked I think he heard a voice? I haven't given a rewatch, but when he got up the rosita necklace was left behind. I took it as him leaving her behind. I think he wants sasha, which is dumb. He's got a good thing going.
With that, I think he's afraid to have another family. And rosita would be all about that, where as sasha would not be.
Damn, I didn't think of it as him leaving Rosita behind for Sasha. That's interesting. And yeah, that would be totally stupid and a pretty huge step down for him.

On the Talking Dead they mentioned that the last time a character received a gift of jewelry it was the necklace Beth received. IIRC, that was shortly before her death. Wondering if this is a bit of foreshadowing?

Rick and Co. think they are doing the right thing by eliminating "the bad guy" in this scenario.

That group already ran into Rick & Co, so they know that eventually they will have to deal with them, this way they can do it for a bonus.

In the first season Andrea picked up a necklace for her sister in Atlanta, only for her sister to get bitten before she could give it to her.

Yah. Although we haven't seen the discussion Daryl, Abe & Sasha had to have with the others about the Neegan crew, we know it happened as it was referenced last night. Having the experiences they have had, Rick & Co (minus the Alexandrians) know that whoever this fricktard is they will eventually have a confrontation with him (just like the Governor, the Wolves, the Terminus folks, etc). They figure it's better to be pro-active on those assholes than reactive.

I wonder if it's foreshadowing or since Abe lost his necklace in a near-death encounter, does that mean he DOESN'T die? Or maybe Rosita dies?
Speaking of which... frick Abe. He's banging the hell out of Rosita while trying to mack on Sasha. Greedy-assed ginger.

That's how I took it as well.
And sure, they could likely take anything they wanted from this community despite them having cutesy little spears and shite. But that's not the kind of people Rick and Co. are though.

I was expecting this to happen last night actually. Normally when we get "sweet" scenes with characters who don't normally get screen time, it means bad news for them shortly (and often times the same episode). So I really expected her to bite it (no pun intended).
I also wondered if the actress was like "So this is the first screen time I've really gotten in a while, and you want me to be naked in it??"

I'm thinking he "saw" the most important person to him also. Leaving the necklace behind would foreshadow it being Sasha and it very likely is but I've also thought he might of seen his wife that was killed. He may walk away from all relationships from this point. Just another perspective.

Director would just respond "Baby, everybody wants you to be naked in it."

When did this happen? I don't remember this. Who gave it to her?
