I must be a totally different Rick and Morty fan. Ive loved both of the two new episodes. It took a second watch on the train episode. Overall, I think season 4 has been better than season 3 so far.

edit:and Ive watched a few episodes of Solar Opposites, and I didnt like it at all.

That was definitely a multi watch. I missed so much in the first episode, and just being dropped into the story like that confused me at first, and I was kinda playing catch up the whole time. Second episodes helped immensely. Probably going to watch again soon.

I thin you can watch it on adult swim website without a login.

Last nights episode was fun. A bunch of call backs and references that I missed. Need to go back and watch a second time. Apparently Moe's Tavern was featured indirectly when Morty tosses the old man out of his wheelchair.

Anyone else watch?

Idk, was better than last week but show is getting stale..

I'm sorry but forcing women writers has taken it's toll, unoriginal derived crap lately

But it's still decent, just heavily influenced by girl power now, every time they pull off a R&M level scene its like a women perspective gets shoe horned in for equality, really takes away from the flow

It's funny a show based on time travel characters refuses to do time travel, but still pulled off the episode

And to be fair I didn't love season 3 much either.

Sometimes rewatching helps and I'll hold off until I get to do it

Train was good, the symbiotic one was trash

I’ve been enjoying the first two episodes both ending with them watching interdimensional cable

Acid Vat might have been the best episode of the entire series for me. I gasped aloud when fricking Jerry hit the rewind button putting Morty back outside the strip club and had to pause it just to process what had just happened.

I agree that this is peak Rick. When him and Morty finished arguing about Rick not being able to build the save spot machine my wife, who is usually doing Facebook ignoring it looked up and said, "Holy shite". This is the ONLY time she has ever given a reaction to this show other than giving me stupid looks.

Acid Vat has probably been my favorite episode of Season 4. I’m hoping to see more of Jerry in some of the remaining episodes. I love that dumbass.

I really want another Evil Morty episode too. I kind of doubt we’ll get one this season though.

Did anyone watch the interview/table read that the cast of Community had earlier in the week? Harmon mentioned that he has been working on writing the episodes for season 6. Maybe that means season 5 will be starting this fall.

I dunno if anyone mentioned it yet, but what about Roiland saying he wants to do one episode a month? Would people be in favor of it? It would give them plenty of time to keep pumping out episodes because each 12 episode season basically takes a year to air.

Holy shite, acid vat.

I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard as when Jerry hits the button and Eric Clapton starts playing.

Until the acid proof cop, and then I woke my kid up belly laughing

ETA: just realized in the plane crash they’re all dressed like the boys from South Park

So are the rumors of Justin and Dan having a falling out fake news? It was postulated this was the reason for Justin's solo rip off show (Solar Opposites) and the future of Rick and Morty in jeopardy

That would translate to 1 episode Every 5 months with a 6 month break At the halfway point of 5/10 episodes per season. You are smoking crack if you think they are going to start doing 12 episodes in a year, or a season. It has taken them 1/5-2.5 years at a time to get one 10 episode season.

I’m rewatching Community and there are so many “Dan Harmon Jokes” that are consistent in all his shows

Jokes about only singing songs in the public domaine

Jokes about never doing a sequel
