Say what you want, and I realize I'm a bit of a meme about this and I love R&M but I feel the quality has dropped big time, I still like it but it's just not as good, they were on a roll. It could obviously be that Harmon/Roiland aren't working well together which had been documented.

But I just find it cringe that they had this huge girl power moment and it was a huge news story about how woke they were getting, ridding their writing staff for women writers "because this show written by all men is out of touch and needs a women's view"

At that same time the writing took a huge nosedive, obviously too.

But in this day and age I guess you can't discuss this because everyone is so woke and I'm a douche for pointing it out

How have the last few forced SJW entertainment stuff turn out? TLJ, HQ, etc

I still enjoy it , and I did love acid vat

So far this has been a solid season.

The opener with the rick clones was good.
The heist episode ws great
Claw and ORder and the Snake epside were also funny

I think the biggest issue is that the train episode was one of the weaker episodes overall and was s defacto premier because of the gap.

If that was just a random episode in a regular season I don't think it would have been as disappointing. Its better than Raising Gazorpazorp, IMO.

Looking back its been a good season.

Evil Morty was in that big scene where they followed up with some talk about it being a sequence of things they don't have to go back to, so I'd say MAYBE.

But if so, it'll be dribbled out slowly as it become interesting to them as something to bother doing.

The train wasn't bad but the symbiotic episode where neither Rick or Morty are actually in the episode and their bodies are just hosts was horrid. I turned it off the first night watching it and only finished it before vat of acid.

It really was hot garbage, I like some of the others, idk

Just now watching it now, and this is the hardest I've laughed at Rick and Morty in a long time. Fantastic episode.

Although Rick hating on time travel doesn't make sense considering he literally did it this season on the snake episode.

Agree and it is unfortunate. S3 E1 is just about the best 30 min. of animated story-line that I've ever seen.

Season 3 had a lot of bad “feminist” shoehorning, like in the therapist’s office during the pickle rick episode, but the show is still really solid. Very much so enjoyed Rick f$&king a planet and Gerry becoming Moses leading the unproductives to revolt against Rick and Beth’s utopian baby daddy society.

“You look like Kid Rock f$&ked Zeus!”

Looking back I think Season 3 was pretty fricking good.

The Premier was amazing.
Pickle Rick is a classic
The Vindicators episode was great
The Citadel episode was funny.

Not every episode was gold but that’s true of every season even season 1

Holy shite what an episode that one was.

Finally got a chance to watch Sunday's and that is an all time great episode.

"Those are the unproductives. Yeah the DJ's, foodies, influencers"

Morty and Summer getting high and playing video games

"Papa we got high and played video games, we did wrong, we did wrong!"

"God damn Summer was smoking this? It's basically break fluid"

Her eyes. "Lets show mom and dad what video games and partying are all about." immediately wings fall off and they crash

Welp finale was tonight. Decent episode. Rick and morty seems to have lost a bit of steam this season. I think I’ll lose interest waiting 2 years for another hit and miss half season.

Is that it?

Huh ending on somewhat of a down note. Not always typical for season finales.

I enjoyed it as much as Season 2's finale.

The season overall has been a great shite on Rick after they kept escalating his godhood through season 2 and 3 and it was thematic to the season as a whole. Where Rick loses the toilet battle, becomes entwined with a slut dragon, is only saved by a toothpick, gets pissy with Morty for his plans being called out, lost to a Zeus, and then this cherry on top.

Edit: Finds out Nazi is the new default.
