It was definitely was below their usual standards, but even still I laughed pretty hard at Rick's final holographic toilet rant.

I feel like it's suffering from a case of too much hype and excitement over the super long break. I like each episode more than when I rewatch them so far although this last one wasn't great.

This show has taken a downward turn for sure, it's a shame too.
It's basically movie parodies now. I hope it turns around but other than the first episode, totally meh no effort at all, I guess since they signed the 100 episode deal they DGAF anymore

So they signed a 100 episode deal and we are only getting 6 this season? Really?
I enjoyed one and two. Episode three (heist) just moved too fast. It was fun, but just got too difficult to follow.

we're getting 10.
I believe 5 are ready now so they're playing and 5 more are being worked on.
It does seem like they have the 70 episode deal and are less urgent to move along the major themes.

Agree. Only the first episode brought the typical amount of Rick and Morty, laugh out loud moments. Last one, my husband and I barely laughed at all. I mean, if they’re low on ideas, they could expand on the squirrel thing or send Jerry back to daycare or something....maybe both...maybe get schwifty again

I wasn't a big fan of them at first, but after re watching the second and third episodes of the season, my opinion changed. The Heist one was gold, and the app developer was super deep/dark.

It was better I guess, idk. I'm going to have to go back and give them a rewatch, they all just seem phoned in to me this season.
It's probably because I hold the quality so high in regard, I'm sure they are actually better episodes than I'm perceiving them. Ill know when I watch them over.
