I enjoyed the episode and the TVA definitely pulled from old Disney parks ride spiels and announcements. 100% throwback to those which was funny.
What I didn't really care for though I know it's unavoidable when talking about the 3 time keepers as being all powerful, is that Infinity stones, one of the most powerful things in existence, are just rendered completely useless.
It cheapens the 10 years worth of movies to me because at this point none of that really mattered, except to say it happened the way it was supposed to happen. I don't know, I thoroughly enjoyed the episode but if the time keepers are the end all be all in the universe, what villain is a real threat?

The time travel timeline frickery is never going to make sense, it's best to just turn off the part of your brain that wants to try to rationalize it.

Here is my question: In the sacred timeline, the avengers always go back in time to get the stones. This means they always lose 2012 Loki and the tesseract.
I know the TVA set a time reset charge to stamp out this branch, but this branch HAS to happen for Stark and Capt to go to the 70's and see his father/Peggy?
Introducing the sacred timeline opens up so many questions. So if they were to reset Loki, does that take away Cap living his life with Peggy?
Also, like another said, this kind of cheapens Thanos’ threat. Like almost none of it mattered, he was a powerless hamster at the end of the day.

That's what I tell my girlfriend when we watch shows like this.
As someone who has watched or read a decent amount of sci-fi that includes time travel I just tell her it's best not to think about how it's all happening or any kind of "chicken or the egg" scenario. Just listen to whatever timeline "rules" the show/movie/book sets out for itself and just enjoy it. Otherwise you'll go cross eyed trying to figure it out or think about the repercussions.

Y'all are forgetting that Loki's armor includes horns.
This. The devil the girl saw was clearly Loki with his/her helmet.

No. The judge explicitly said the Avengers were supposed to time travel when Loki tried to blame them while defending himself in the courtroom scene.

I made too much out of the stained glass depiction of the devil. I now see where the director is waving people off of making that connection.
As for Kang, I think everyone is making what appears to be an obvious connection.

1.) Not sure the time keepers are even real or alive anymore. That is why only a few can see them. Kang is controlling things.
2.) Does he still have the time stone?
3.) Still curious about the devil part. Some internet folks think the image is a loki because of the blue tongue. (Frost giant).

Well Strange said he saw millions of alternate realities of the battle. What if this Loki is from an iteration where they lost and the Loki they’re hunting is from Endgame and I just went cross eyed thinking about it

What makes everyone say it's a female Loki? Did I miss something really obvious? It just looked like a hooded figure to me, but I for sure could of missed it.

It's because it's a spoiler.

Ok cool. I got stoned before watching and had no clue it was a female

100% Kang is in charge. And 100% Jonathan Majors shows up in the series.

Critics got the first 2 episodes in advance but it was already assumed by the actors signed. Plus it’s big in the comics.
In norse mythology he often takes the form off all sorts of things, old/young people, women, animals, etc. He even took the form of a female horse and gave birth to odin’s famous 8 legged horse. Eww…

That one episode was better than anything from Wandavision or Falcon & Winter Soldier.

Well Hiddleston and Wilson are better actors than anyone on the other two shows.
Also, anything cosmic and wacky is more fun and enjoyable.

quote:well they can see the future and all the different ways the future can go so they knew it would happen. And I think you are thinking of this the wrong way, the stones matter in they world..... but they dont for the puppet masters. You have to wrap your head around it like things affect different beings differently. We dont care about cats...but mice.....they are terrified. Like that, but in a more fake comic book way. haha.
Plus Cap went back and put the Stones in their rightful places. Then again the Stones don’t matter apparently.
