I haven't watched F&WS - any chance there are important connections between it and this that I need to know first? I enjoyed Hiddleston as Loki in the MCU, but F&WS just doesn't have much draw for me.

I honestly don’t think there will be any connection. There wasn’t any with F&WS and WandaVision. Kevin Feige has already stated these shows won’t really push the arcs forward much, they just provide Marvel with the opportunity to explore the characters more.
