because she just watched her dad beat the shite out of some guy she was sitting with for the past hour(s)?

I hope this is the case, and it's not because she takes after her mother in fixating on Raylan's "anger issues".
They really should've gone with a real actress to play his daughter. I get that Timothy probably forced them to let his daughter play the part, but unfortunately that voice of hers will preclude her from landing any major speaking roles. So this show is probably her ceiling.
And it appears that they are shoehorning a romantic relationship between Raylan and the attorney based on the previews of the rest of the season. It would be one thing if it was someone that looked more like Rachel (decent looking and not overweight), but I just don't see Raylan going from Winona and Ava to this attorney.
And the last complaint I have is the dialog isn't measuring up with the original series. I realize that there is no Boyd Crowder in this, but the dialog between Art, Tim, Rachel, Duffy, Arlo, Johnny, Dewey and most of the other characters is what made Justified. I just don't get the same feeling from this group of characters.
With all of that said, it's still a show that I think is worth watching since there really isn't anything else that is currently going on that I like any better. So I'll keep watching it for now, and who knows, maybe the show will pick up and show more of the original Justified magic.

I missed it and don't want to read the thread in case of spoilers, what's y'all's reviews?

but the dialog between Art,
i can't imagine they'll let Art be the Art we know and love due to his more colorful commentary off camera.

Art isn't in Detroit so it's a moot point.

Only watched the first episode but thought it was good. Daughter is a little whiny but she wasn’t a big part of the episode. The judge was funny. The thing with the defense lawyer was a little weird. Hope they don’t go there. I mean Raylan is gonna go from Wynona to that?

I think if raylan bangs her it will be for alterior motives

Keith David as the judge had me cracking up.
I’m legit sad he exited early.
As for the show, it’s alright. But just alright so far. I’d could sit and listen (and watch) Timothy Olyphant read the phone book at this point so I’ll keep watching. Hopefully it improves some.

I listened to a radio interview he did and he did not sound the same as he does on TV and movies. I was very disappointed

He sounded the same to me on conans podcast the few times he came on

I'm not sure what to think of it, it certainly wasn't bad but just felt like something was holding it back. Probably just comparing it to the OG which of course isn't fair and it'll never match
The dynamic between all the characters is weird to me and Raylen feels disconnected from basically all of them but maybe that's the point with the setting being in Detroit
I guess I'm dumb but I'm still confused why Clement who had this whole con set up on this dude who the girl went home with suddenly changed his whole plan upon seeing the judge then shot and killed the judge and his assistant in such a reckless way but seemingly also had some idea of who it was and what they possessed given how he wanted to go to the judges house and also grabbed the notebook from his coat.
I know that was a terrible run on sentence but it lost me a bit

What was "The Wrecking Crew"? This whole season is gonna be about this rogue chaos character and the blossoming romance with a thick woman (shes smart too I get it)? That'll be boring.

I somehow missed this but how did Raylan and Deacon from king of queens know to go visit Sandy Stanton and her penthouse in the first place ?
Posted on 7/20/23 at 5:51 am to Lawyered
I figured surveillance footage from the garage where he ran through the gate?
Raylan asked him about hiding in the bedroom later

The Range Rover Clement drove belonged to the guy that owns the penthouse Sandy is in.

The Detroit cop who kept saying "This is how we do it in Detroit" got old fast. I wasn't able to catch the second episode. Did he get killed yet? Hope he's as dirty as he acts and Raylan kills him.

I don't even think we saw him in the second episode
