yeah, i don't understand what the writers are trying to do. it went from a light hearted comedy in season one to all kind of dark shite continually reappearing.

Agreed...not sure how I feel about this season yet. I can definitely see how/why it's supposedly the final one. Only so much they can do with a character as shallow as Kenny Powers.
I find myself laughing more often at the secondary characters (i.e., Stevie and Casper) than Kenny at this point. That's not good.

First episode was very good and, despite what many on this board thought, I found the second one with Ferrell hilarious. The last two epsiodes, however, are among the worst of the series IMO.

To me the feud with the Russian, and the relationship with the college girl is the low part of the show.
If I had to guess the series will end with Kenny never getting back to the majors, and he'll retire. Now, whether or not he'll actually stay once April comes back remains to be seen.

post shave stevie was awesome last night. i agree the show has gotten dark and less funny. last weeks episode made me kringe watching kenny at the funeral. i hope they are just setting up an epic ending with a little lull in the middle of the season.

him putting his head under the cushion was the stupidest scene i have ever witnessed in a TV show. This show has gone to complete crap, and i dont see how anyone can defend it.
