Yep. They nerfed Thor, period.
He's fat Thor. it was hokey in this sense, but Thor has been nerfed dozens of times in the comic book due to his own vices. Including becoming a hobo drunk.
It's true to the character.

Also, whatever happened to the gauntlet requiring a specially made tool by an ancient race of weapons makers? Tony Stark makes a glove in a short period of time.
1) Rocket is way smarter than Tony
2) Maybe once they had all of the stones they could figure out how to harness that power. Dwarves maybe knew about the stones and could do it "magically," read: without the stones, but Tony, Banner and Rocket, could probably figure it out since they had the power sources in front of them.
Not s stretch at all.

Theres so many holes.
Not really, if you give it a little thought.

As I suspected. But the time travel was way out there as well even though they tried to set it up with ant man being caught up in the quantum realm.
If anyone could have came up with time travel you would have figured Thanos would have. It was kinda funny that he learned through Nebulas video memories.
I was completely underwhelmed but hey, they made 1.2 bill in the first 2 days so whatever.

I think it’s incredible that no one has mentioned the true hero, the real mvp, the ultimate team player, and the savior of the universe......

Being their characters as they are, Thanos is made to be the center of the universe. His powers even before the infinity stones were unrivaled. Once he finally had the stones and snapped his finger and got rid of 50% of the population you would think he would have had the knowledge and power to bend time. Only once he saw Nebulas memories was he able to bend time. That seems extremely wonky to me tbh.
But I am a very stingy movie watcher and a very clinical person overall

Another reason why Captain Marvel being in this movie sucked: when she got the Gauntlet, why didn’t she fly like a trillion miles away with it? You’ve destroyed his ship so he can’t follow you. She should have not been in this film.

They were trying to get the glove away from Thanos via the quantum realm portal in the van.
How was this not obvious?

Kill Thanos first and worry about that later. Making sure the Gauntlet was as far as possible from Thanos should be the primary objective. Seriously if she just went to the Moon, waited it out for a few minutes, Thanos was almost certainly going to be killed.

Thanos couldn’t even build his own gauntlet to hold the stones. I just don’t take it that Thanos is some all knowing God that can do or know everything.

Oh okay, sorry for criticizing the movie. I didnt know fantasy movies were above criticism. I thought I was posting on the movie/TV board.

He isn't a god that knows or can do everything. He is just part of a extremely powerful and intelligent species that was wiped out by what he believes was overpopulation in the movies anyway.
I still prefer the he wants to bang a chick that is death storyline.

That's not the point, at least for me.
You're talking about a whole universe of things with new rules, new opportunities, new dimensions, etc. They literally can't spend all of that time explaining every little point.
When you read a comic , sometimes you have to make assumptions, draw a line between two points that are not explained, and just kind of go with. It doesn't mean it's above criticism, but it's also not that things are UNSAID, it's that you are supposed to fill the gaps with your own explanations if you feel you need to.
There's enough data to make some assumptions about 3 of the smartest people in the universe having the stones in front of them and figuring out how to assemble the glove, while the race of super-weapon focused dwarves can do it without the stones. Not a big leap.

Right. That’s why I don’t see why people are so surprised he didn’t know about time travel or how to build his own gauntlet.

He had to use his ship to overcome Scarlet Witch and the Power Stone to overcome Captain Marvel. Then you’ve got Thor with his Thanos killing ax, Captain America with his hammer, the Hulk who is now more composed, Ant-Man and Wasp that could crawl up his arse, a frickload of people with heavy weaponry, and dozens of masters of the mystic arts (which should be able to carve him up like a turkey). He was fricked after his ship went down if he couldn’t get his hand on the Gauntlet.

God damn you are insufferable.
Why didn't Antman just make the gauntlet small? Why didn't Dr. Strange just send the gauntlet through a portal?
Because it's fricking stupid storytelling for a superhero movie.

I liked the movie, arse. Everyone has been bitching to death about time travel for dozens of pages, but almost every time travel movie has these plot holes. So who cares? We knew this was going to happen and my expectations were met. So how about you frick off up the model village?
