2. Thor. Completely destroyed his character.. IW he was the character all his previous films led to. He was a cartoon character in this one
It’s almost like blaming yourself for the death of half of the universe would take its toll on you mentally and physically...

One question I have
2014 Thanos jumped to 2023 and died there, so the original snap never happens in any other timeline except 2023 because 2014 Thanos is the end of the line. He no longer exists after that correct?
The snap only exists in the 2023 timeline because it happened in the past and that’s it, right?
Timeline drawing to explain
2014............,.......2018 snap..........................2023
\ _________________________________ / dies here
\_Thanos__________________________/
So the dotted only happens in the 2023 timeline because 2014 Thanos dies in the future. Nothing in the 2023 past changed like the Hulk said but the future of 2014 timeline changes?
I think one of two scenarios happened:
1) Tony didn't snap them out of existence, he snapped them back into existence in 2014 with maybe memories removed, so that everything happens as it should. That would fix the timeline. And solve all of the issues.
2) Or, we are to assume that because 2014 Thanos was killed in 2023, that there are now ONLY 2 timelines, and one that should theoretically be more safe because Thanos no longer exists, yes the Gurdians don't form and things don't happen the way they should, but it being 2014 means some of the Avengers stuff DID get started, but Thanos never attacks, never snaps, so things are less elevated and dangerous. For now.
In either case there could be at least one more timeline with Loki/Tesseract. That gives the creative teams some room to play around for sure. I would assume Thor 4 will end up dealing with it.

So she's gone in every reality, but Gamora isn't?
No, Natasha can be brought back through time travel methods by all means. The issue is that it would require creating a whole new timeline where Natasha just vanishes. Now that timeline’s Avengers have no Black Widow.
Gamora’s 2014 timeline now has no Guardians of the Galaxy, at least not how we know it.
They can’t help it with Gamora now, but to go back and steal a Natasha would just be wrong.

WHo is the leader now? It should be Thor but based on what they did to his character, I doubt that's the case anymore.

Just saw it. It is a really good final movie for this storyline. Well made.

And, like I said, why did Peggy look the same in 1970 as she had in the 1940s
Because Hayley Atwell is an ageless smokeshow.
Cap made the right call, I’d give it all up for this in a heartbeat

Probably Falcon Cap. Maybe Captain Marvel but that seems out of character for this Captain Marvel. They've set her up as a space hero only.

The leader is JAMES RHODES. Has everyone forgotten about War Machine?

This is also a possibility. 100% won't be a white dude regardless.

It's also 100% possibility that Carol and Rhodey won't be romantically involved like they are in the comics. Cheadle and Larson can't stand each other.

Anyone else annoyed that after Cap and Tony the next most screen time was fricking Nebula. She was on the screen for like 50 mins. She was essentially the 3rd lead of the movie. Imagine being told that 6 years ago. That nebula would have more to do with the story than Thor, hulk, Hawkeye etc etc.
Also did SLJ have a conflict. Its as if he essentially just tagged CM in and bounced. When. Thanos ship started firing up through the clouds I thought "oh shite I bet it's Fury and Scherbatsky on the big SHIELD ship. Tight". Nope just that new bitch.
And then when CM has to carry the gauntlet....why the frick would she choose to fly 10 ft off the ground. Just go to space!!!

Like I said earlier, I'm of the belief the time is all relative to the present version of yourself. Cap goes back, but he's still 2023 Cap, and he lives his life until 2023 when he comes to the bench. Due to the way time travel works relative to those who don't time travel, it only took 5 seconds for the Hulk, Falcon, and Bucky. In those 5 seconds for them, present day Cap experienced an entire life.
Right. But there had to be a time when Cap went back in time for the first time. Meaning there was no "old Cap" on the bench for Sam and Bucky to discover.

Complaint in the continuity: if Captain Marvel can effortlessly rip through Thanos’ ship, why the hell hasn’t she done that years ago? Miss “I protect other planets”.... hey, how about you go after the guy that has wiped out half the life of dozens of planets? Seems like you should go after him first.

its been heavily rumored and suggested that feige is positing captain marvel to become the driving force of the MCU going forward

shite. Something about this makes sense to me.
So maybe the "past" that cap went to isn't the past but the present. Because all that other shite had to occur to get him there. The physical setting is the "past" but the time line is the present.
Basically time travel in this context is really just dealing with time as a physical location and not a chronological sequence.

Got back a couple hours ago. Not sure I'm smart enough to know what all was going on with past Thanos coming into the future and getting snapped away and somehow still making the snap happen.
I actually liked how they had Captain Marvel coming in and taking out the ship, thought that was a great fit for her to come in. I did have an issue with the girl power moment when she picks up the gauntlet to run it and all the women randomly gathered around to have her back.
Endings with Tony was about as perfect as you could ask for.
Did we ever find out who Peggy married and had a life with? Maybe it was Steve Rogers coming back in time from the start and she just couldn't tell future him?

Then they'd better nail the casting of Veranke.
