nothing....I feel this reopens the “why not just increase the resources of the universe?” question.

Cause that will result in the same thing but grander. Thanos still won if he really thought about it. Losing half the universe made the other half appreciate them more. I'm sure everything changed.

Also what was with their loyalty to Thanos there, considering both went on to betray pretty him pretty quickly in GOTG, which was in 2014

Gamora never really showed loyalty here.

Nebula expressed wanting to change, but “ he will never let her.”

Why she thought Ronan could defy Thanos but the possessor of the whole damned gauntlet couldn’t....I’m tapped there

The purpose wasn’t to make people appreciate each other. It was to slow resource consumption

Why wouldn't he go rule Asgard and let Valkyrie rule new Asgard?

Asgard was destroyed in Ragnarok.

I know but wouldn't you think that since he was so vocal about it that at least some civilizations would take heed to the warning?

Scarlet witch was bad arse though.

Just watched that finale again on a leak video and damn, her 1-on-1 with Thanos is well done. She looks absolutely shaken with anger and she would’ve killed him if not for the “rain fire” protocol.

That was also when I realized that they never got Vision back.

Yeah I kept waiting for him to snap back into shape via Asgard magic or something. It kind of ruined what should have been a cool shot of the 3 approaching Thanos for that last battle

So was Fat Thor in a weakened state because he was wayyyy powered down in this one

Am I the only one that cried when Strange gave Tony the signal that this was the 1 chance and Tony did the snap? I knew it was coming, I just didn’t know how. Man, I felt like a bitch leaving the theater

That’s so fricking gay. If you’re over the age of 14 you should probably kill yourself.

Really good movie. I’d give it a 6.5/10. Satisfying but only slightly

The good:

- The Stark/Rogers argument at the beginning
- Callback to the elevator scene from Winter Soldier
- Getting Tilda, Grillo, Redford, Douglas back
- Everyone’s return for the final battle
- The final battle being satisfyingly short
- Rogers picking up the hammer (made me inwardly gasp)
- All the ladies getting together in the big battle
- Rogers passing on the shield

The meh;
- Why the hell wasn’t Professor Hulk fully explored? I would have love to see the Hulk/Banner struggle and then compromise
- Thor’s arc was silly and stupid
- Hawkeye’s character was all over the place and not well defined
- Thanos and Rogers time traveling stuff basically renders everything meaningless
- They make time travel rules and break them

Movie was kind of riddled with plot holes and the Stark funeral scene was hilarious as it’s clear these people aren’t all there at one time.

Wtf was that cringey girl power moment?

Probably the worst moment in the whole movie. It was just beyond stupid and was so forced. I thought it was cool seeing the female characters, but the forced moment should have been cut.

There is only one Asgard now, the New Asgard in Norway.

He wanted to be free. His whole life was about becoming King for his people, doing what was best for them, and honestly, they are safe now. Staying there would have just reminded him of all his failures and wouldn’t allow him to grow as a being.

Go out and explore the universe, have adventures, save some beings who need saving, tag some space strange, enjoy existence for the first time in centuries. Plus I think he enjoys the company of Tree and the Sweet Rabbit.

How long did you want this movie to be?

Isn't that what he did at the end of Thor 2?

And between AoU and Ragnarok, it's assumed he had been searching the cosmos for the stones.

Anyone else thing the earthquake in the ocean is foreshadowing Namor? Seemed like a pretty stupid thing to randomly bring up without meaning.

You’re doing it very poorly.
