Anyone else thing the earthquake in the ocean is foreshadowing Namor? Seemed like a pretty stupid thing to randomly bring up without meaning.

of course it is. nothing is just randomly mentioned in this movie

Thor/Chris Hemsworth is probably the best part of the MCU along with Iron Man/Robert Downey Jr.

So Cap ends up having a nice life and growing old with his old girl... does that mean in Civil War he made out with his granddaughter?

I believe Peggy was her aunt.

So...his niece? Not much better

Hemsworth has said for the last couple of years he has loved growing into the role. I think it’s funny that he hated the wig he wore for his first two movies and Avengers 1&2 so he was hyped that they told him he wouldn’t have to wear it much in Ragnarok but then he had to wear the eyepatch, then the contact.

Then in his best turn in the role, he has to wear the contact, wig, beard, and fat suit. Dude’s just having fun and slaying poon.

That’s fine.

His arc was stupid.

Even Rocket got a more meaningful arc in this movie.

Why did they give Captain Marvel one of those “I want to speak to the manager” haircuts? She looked awful. Is that a new Hollywood requirement for being a strong female?

Had very little to do with the lesbo haircut

I'm still amazed Tony went through almost that entire battle without a helmet. You would think he would want it on when he's getting punched in the face by Thanos but I guess he's tougher than I thought. It really is crazy the amount of people with helmets who don't wear them in battle.

Where has that army of wizards been hiding? It seems they could have been really helpful in the fights against the chitauri and Ultron.

I think all that “nano tech” is supposed to make the helmet portion reappear if he’s about to get hit. Which is kind of cheesy I don’t like the nano tech Iron Man suit that much it’s too much magic and not enough science.

Brie Larson is such a wooden actor. The bad haircut sure didn’t help things. When all of the female heroes banded together in the final battle, I saw that coming from a mile away.

Really good movie. I’d give it a 6.5/10. Satisfying but only slightly

That’s a weird description of a “really good” movie

Still wish they could have left the door open for Evans to come back, cut to black with Sam saying where is he?

Then cut to Cap and Peggy dancing and the song ends and they stop and she asks him if he has to go back and he says, Maybe one day. That’s cheesy as shite and obviously wouldn’t do it that way, but some version of that where he can come back. Now he’s old as balls and can’t do anything

I don’t think the door is closed on Chris Evans playing the role again. Having said that, I don’t think he will play the role again. At least not in anything more than a cameo a la Thor 2/Homecoming.
