I'm assuming since it was now bane's prison, as one guy even said, the prison was full of bane's enemies and not actual criminals.

Who knows...I was just being stupid.

And since Talia took over the League of Shadows and Bane was her right hand man, I'm assuming he was once again part of the league.

So basically we have Bane puttin the va jay jay on the pedestal in both Batman movies he is in. One he is a slave to Poison Ivy and the other Talia...this dude just can't think for himself.

That's disappointing.

I guess before Bruce started working on disarming the nuke he went and fixed the bat signal, left a package for Robin, and fixed the autopilot for shits and giggles.

I'm with rolltide on this one...

Yeah...despite what others may think I believe he survived and went on to have another life, a clean slate with Selina. That's the ending I want to believe and the ending, at least in my opinion, Nolan intended to be "real."

This will still go down as one of the top 3-4 trilogies of all time.

Somewhere in the mix with Lord of the Rings, Toy Story, the firt three Star Wars if you seperate them, Back to the Future, Godfahter has a terrible finish, Indiana Jones dragged and the Eastwood Dollars/the Good, the Bad, the Ugly.

Arguably top two. I think everybody is chasing LOTR.

I agree. FANTASTIC trilogy. I just think it peaked with Rachel's death and the capture of the joker.

If you had just one, what would be your main complaint about the last movie? Aside from a "lazy plot" comment...

Bruce's knee. I just didn't buy that he went from near-cripple to Batman simply due to a knee brace. They could've used something else to point out that Bruce wasn't in tip-top shape.

It wasn't something a college football player would wear, it was a Lucious Fox knee brace.

"Apparently, Warner Bros. was pressuring Nolan to use the Riddler, which would have been too similar to the Joker," Dixon continued. "Plus, the Riddler, like the Joker and so many of Batman's villains, is no challenge against him in a mano-a-mano fistfight. Batman will wipe the floor with him in that situation. “I am beyond glad that Nolan had the juice in Hollywood to stick to his guns," he added. "From interviews I've seen, it's clear he understands the character and he gets what we were going for. It's not exactly what I created, but he's physically imposing and Tom Hardy is one hell of an actor. I can't imagine Bane being better portrayed."

The ending obviously - it was disappointing to me because of the implausibility (deus ex machina). I don't know if they always intended the ending or chose it because they thought it was more appealing to the wider audience you get with superhero movies

There were other little things scattered through the movie but none of them were big deals to me overall

I'll have to write a long detailed response as to why, but my MAIN complaint is the unbelievability of the plot given the nature of the characters in this movie as opposed to the first two.

My reasoning is quite in depth, but it seems Nolan took me out of the story by some of the logical leaps which didn't fit the characters presented within the universe he established.

It's not that hard to believe. Inflammatory injuries due to excessive physical activity/overuse such as ITBS and PFPS (I've had the former) can cause agonizingly acute pain in the knee. Both of which can improve significantly in a matter of weeks with anti-inflammatories, bracing, and PT.

Talia al ghul's overwrought death scene. I mean right at the moment she expires.

In BB, the officer asking Gordon if the men at the docks were falcone's men when he already knew falcone was at the scene

In TDK, how did the batman save the joker? Seriously, did he shoot that grapple straight up his arse?

The part that frustrated me the most in TDKR was the nuclear bomb explosion. So you're telling me that a 12 megaton atom bomb with a 6 mile blast radius explodes within view of the shoreline, but there was no nuclear fallout? No radiation to Gotham? That explosion would have also created a massive tsunami that would have wiped out Gotham.

He had no cartilage left in his knee at all. Clearly established by the doctor and the x-ray. The device would not remedy that as long as his knee joint is moving. A better plot device would have been some sort of serum developed by Fox or obtained from the LOS (could have tied this into Bane's super strength as well)
