This has gotten beyond ridiculous. Good luck just trying to discuss a movie.

Bane had already been defeated and conquered by Batman.

Batman breaking his rule to kill talia made more sense because it was for the greater good, kill her to save millions.

What is it about movies today? And Nolan? What's wrong with someone ADMITTING a movie had mistakes?

Bilj, my problem with that was that Bane was built up to be the badass mastermind for 2 and a half hours and you are invested in seeing Batman get the better of him and finish him off. Then the bait and switch--mostly due to exposition that Talia is REALLY the bad guy. I'm sorry, you just aren't as invested in hating her the way you are BAne. I would rather have seen Selina kill Talia and Bruce finish off Bane.

Added to the fact bane is traditionally born in prison. I took it to mean he was born in hell on earth as well.

Same here. I thought that was a weak bait and switch. The whole time they paint it as Bane being born in the prison and whatnot, and even Bane himself alluded to it. And then all of a sudden the wool is pulled away and it was Thalia the whole time.

So then where does Bane come from and what the hell was he talking about the whole time?

ETA: Also, pretty irresponsible of Bruce to simply let all of the other prisoners free from that prison. I'm sure some of them deserved to be in there.

I was wondering about that as well...

Nothing, but just because you don't like how a villain is killed doesn't mean its an "egregious mistake."

Although coming from the guy who couldn't grasp how ropes work, it might be hard to see that.

Bane was born in "Pena Dura," a prison in the Caribbean islands in the comics so it isn't like they just completely ignored that he was born in prison nor does Talia being born in the prison mean Bane wasn't in the Nolanverse (Bane's explanation of where he came from should be taken as truth).

He just happened to protect Talia while she was in the prison with him.

Who said "egregious"? Lazy...yes. That's been my opinion this entire time. The plot was lazy and driven by the characters' unlikely assumptions.

As far as the ropes, that's your comprehension problem. I stated that was a problem with the editing.

Tiger Ryno, the guy I was responding to.

How is it my problem when you are the one who can't comprehend it. The editing was perfectly fine with that scene.

I'm assuming since it was now bane's prison, as one guy even said, the prison was full of bane's enemies and not actual criminals.

Yes, thats what you would have preferred, not Christopher Nolan. Almost everybody was satisfied how it went down. Catwoman killing Bane was more of a "O crap she decided to stay" moment for the audience, not a matter of who got to kill who. Wayne and Talia were lovers, so Batman at that point probably hated Talia more. I doubt many people in the theatre were screaming "NOOOO!! I wanted Batman to kille him, not her!" Better way to have a villain go out than in The Avengers when Hulk just banged the dude on the ground a bunch. They went with a comic relief death, thats a worse way to get rid of a villain than blasting him to with a rocket.

Bane was exiled from the LOS

ETA: Never gave the circumstance as to WHY. And also never told how talia tracked him down to reteam up with him. For a girl so bent on fulfilling her dad's wishes...she sure didn't abide by them

Yes, from Ra's League of Shadows, but they were the ones to initially free him from the prison after he helped Talia escape.

And since Talia took over the League of Shadows and Bane was her right hand man, I'm assuming he was once again part of the league.

If Talia and Bane were both in the LOS at the same time then...Batman would have known about them and Ra's would not have been training Wayne to take his place
