he Flash's costume was bulky and he has fricking facial hair. That's right, The flash has a peach fuzz goatee.
Critisims like this have absolutely no effect on my desire to see this movie.
Like the average movie goer gives a flying frick if the flash has peach fuzz.

Those parts are comically bad, especially the flash.

Oh noes. That's not good.

You gotta think Snyder's role is massively reduced going forward, right?

Dan Murrell: By my count, Batman v Superman consists of five different movies, all playing simultaneously and jockeying for the same amount of screen time.
Batman/Mad Max crossover is gonna be AWESOME.

Did you read the rest of the stuff I said about it? If that was the only problem, I'd be doing back flips.

They need to stop going in this direction IMMEDIATELY. DC is in complete disarray.

If there is a god and someone at Warner Bros cares about making good movies that isn't just mindless action and disaster porn, they will give Snyder the option to hang around as a consultant and work on visuals and stuff like that for a new director and maybe wait for a new gig open up, or he can take the outright harsh and brutal firing and be done with it.

The problem is they've put themselves in a hole by rushing the Justice League. It's way too late to bring in another director IMO. They'd have to scrap the whole thing and reschedule and I just don't see that happening. I agree with you thou, it's time for Snyder to move on. Bring in some fresh blood.

Yeah, but the tedious criticisms tend to make you look like a nitpicker.
Maybe your other problems with the movie are legit, but maybe their as "bad" as the Flash having facial hair.

Good:
Affleck as Batman
Wonder Woman
Jeremy Irons as Alfred
Bad:
Zach Snyder doesn't understand Superman. Superman is an overgrown Boy Scout.
Jesse Eisenberg is awful as Luthor. Like Razzie award winning bad.
How they introduce the rest of the Justice League is cheesy
The movie is so dark and drained of color, you can't see some action scenes.
It's 5 or 6 out of 10.

Hey, no worries, bro. Make up your own mind. If you want to enjoy a movie that makes almost no sense, go for it.

With all of the fanboys saying it's bad then I'm guessing it's bad. I'm just not to worried about minor things that could be considered creative license.

I disagree with this, my wife and I really liked Lex. Him and Alfred were really the only ones with some personality in this film.

I honestly thought Jessie E did a fantastic job. But his portrayal was NOT Lex Luthor.

I fricking loved it.
The pacing was insane and Snyder tried to pack two films into one, but the story and most of the performances were great.
Affleck fricking killed it. Best film Batman ever, by far.
Alfred was perfect.
Wonder Woman was amazing.
Superman was too gloomy, but he wasn't the neck-snapping tard from Man of Steel. This was Batman's movie. Superman was the guy transforming from new hero to legend.
Lois was okay, Ma Kent was okay, Perry White was a little over the top cartoony.
Eisenberg didn't do it for me. He was way too frenetic and over the top. Please lose him before Justice League.
The ending was perfection. I don't care that we all know that Superman isn't really dead. We knew that in the comics and we know it in the movies. That final scene between Luthor and Batman had me pumping my fist. That was insanely good.

Loved Batman didn't give a shite killing fools left and right.
So....not Batman then? I mean the whole not killed people thing is kind of integral to the character, or at least the modern conception, throw that out the window and he might as well roll with twin Glocks because its not Batman.

I'm with you on so much.
If I wasn't a huge Superman and Batman fan I wouldn't be a fan of that movie I'm pretty certain. Or at least I'd be bored to death by it.
but I still really liked it at first glance. I'll keep watching and noticing more and more things that bug me, but first impressions count for something.
That said, Zack Snyder is a mess. His inability to tell stories and create characters people will care about it astounding.
Two movies in now (Superman movies) and you still haven't created a Superman that people will give a shite about. And Wonder Woman...if you don't know comics, you leave this movie still not having any fricking idea who that was fighting alongside Batman & Superman.
Lois is still a mess because he does nothing with her other than make her an expository device. Could've wasted less time with other nonsense (dreams) and built her and Clark's life a little bit so we have a reason to care at the end.
Don't think I hated Eisenberg (but jesus a lot of people are gonna) but his storyline in further movies will determine if the casting was terrible or fine. As it stands he wasn't Lex Luthor to me- but if they develop him then maybe this was a great start.

quote:It's slow going but (even though this was Batman's movie) Superman transitions from threat to hero. Yeah, it shouldn't have taken two whole movies to do that.
