It will have been 35 since the first movie came out and 25 since the last.
Feels crazy to think but the under feels possible.

I'm going over.
JK Rowling got canceled for some dumb reason, no more Hogwarts for your Harry Potter.

Under, but they go the Disney approach and computer animate the originals and call it a new movie.

I laugh my arse off seeing people that sooo bad want to hurt her financially but they literally can't bring themselves to step away from Harry Potter. Rowling doesn't give a shite if fans hate her or not. They can hate her all they want but they still give her money

If it were owned by disney, i would have expected an announcement by now. but i would guess 5-10 years ( they have a theme park to think about). i remember when they were coming out that there wasn’t much HP merchandise in stores. Think about how
much money they left on the table back then. i know there’s a lot available now, but i could see a desperation reboot to give a jolt to merch sales.

I’m down, but make it a TV series so they don’t have to cut out so many story lines.

I would expect it to be a TV series.

I'd love for them to do a prequel series about their parents and the original rise of Voldemort.

As long as it goes to Netflix or HBO and has a season for each book, I'm in.

They are legitimately crazy about which house they belong to and the like but I myself am a HUGE fan of the series as well. I really disliked the Fantastic Beasts movies that were put out as part of the Wizarding World and I would welcome a reboot of the series.
I also vote for a TV series so that more of the books can be explored.

Way, way, way under 15. I’ll put it at 3 years. And here’s the thing: they’re not going to reboot it as a film franchise but as a television series. Amazon has Lord of the Rings, Netflix has Avatar, and Disney has Star Wars. HBO is going to have to combat that somehow and a Game of Thrones spinoff isn’t going to do it. So what are they going to do? Harry Potter for sure. They’ve got the rights to it already so we’re good there. Seven seasons makes sense. I would not be remotely shocked if they had the series cast by the end of 2021.

Because she thinks only boys have a penis and only girls have a vagina she has been cancelled. That's it. She has gone from woke icon for making Dumbledore gay to a pariah.

I'd like a series set Post Voldemort based on The Aurors.

She has a book coming out where a dude is dressing up like a woman and killing women.
She doubled down like a motherfricker on it hahaha.

But she can TOTALLY REDEEM herself by having an all black Hogwarts.
A whole franchise on HBSWWs...Historically Black School of Witchcraft and Wizadry.

This is going to happen, wayyy too much money for it to be made on HBO as a series.
Amazon is investing a billion dollars for the first two seasons of Lord of the Rings. It’s rumored that Netflix’s Avatar series first season has a budget of 250-300 million dollars. Then there’s all the Star Wars series Disney is going to be pushing out. They’ll pay that cash for Harry Potter if that’s what their competition is doing. If HBO doesn’t want to go the way of Blockbuster then I don’t think they have a choice but to make some huge fantasy series, and they’re sitting on one hell of a property to do it.

HBO is basically turning into WB's streaming service so it's not going to go away anytime soon.

Think less Dances With Smurfs and more Airbender.
