How many times are they going to repurpose actors from previous marvel movies into new characters?
As many as it takes.
As many as it takes.

Tom Holland’s quippy Richie Cunningham era has seen its day. About time that spider-boy grows into Spider-Man.

Pretty sure only reason Sony keeps turning these shitty movies out is to hold onto the licensing to Spidey. Which is unfortunate to say the least, the MCU has had some missteps lately but nothing can compare to the shite mountain that was Morbius and Madame Web

when they are centered around a topic of some controversy and they stay only on one side of it then the movie comes across as merely a vehicle for preaching.
That requires directors who aren't entirely up their own arse, which is rarer than a Dodo bird.

Hollywood continues its trend of trying to blur the lines of good and evil. We already know which side they're on.

how bad does the third venom need to do for Sony to let Marvel work that character?
856m for the first one, 500m for the second one.
People like Tom Hardy and the movies aren’t bad.

hey describe Kraven as an anti-hero, similar to Venom. Wasn't he a full-blown villain in the comic?
Yup. They are showing here that they do not get this character. Instead of the cocky arrogant prick who can't be beat, they give us dour and serious Kraven who is torn and battling his inner demons. At least that's what the trailer shows. Plus I can't unsee the original trailer with some horrible dialogue.
Rhino looks amazing though. Maybe this will surprise and actually be a good movie. There are some interesting elements in this trailer, but the glaring mistakes can't be ignored.

Sony released the first 8 minutes of bad ADR and stupid-looking physics today.

LOL. They recreated Beastmaster from 1982.

The teenager thing has been done to death.....you can't put a teenage Spiderman up against this Kraven. There would just be no chemistry.
This movie may suck, but it's not because the Spider-Man-is-secretly-a-teen thing doesn't work.

Kraven has been around since the mid-60s.

Fun fact Spider-man is officially no longer a teenager. Has not been for a long time.

He apparently is an animal preservationist in the movie, while he was a big game hunter in the comic. I also don't recall him having the ability to control animals in the comic. He looks great in the trailer, although it appears that he won't wear his signature costume much in the film.
In the storyline Karven was dying and wanted one good final hunt and to be a hero. So he hunted Spiderman defeated him, wore his costume and killed the deadliest villian that was terrorizing the city at the time before dying.

Not as an animal loving hero. They copied Beastmaster.
