This looks like one big pile of cow dung. I suppose the entire movie is going to be 2 hours of goofy slapstick with Grogu.

Called this whenever they couldn’t even let Mando have one full season without Grogu. Biggest mistake the writers made. Went from a semi-serious space western with this lone gunfighter to just goofy, slapstick shite.

I’ll never forgive Filoni for turning S3 into the Bo Katan show.

The industry-wide shittification of dialogue brought on by Disney/Marvel is painful

I find the poor sound quality to be equally appalling. It sounds like Pedro Pascal is reading something he's never seen before off a piece of paper in a sound studio.

Could he not have at least read the script before performing it it doesn't even sound like he's aware of what his character is doing while saying this dialogue.

People are saying this, but I feel it is probably just relative. "Relative" to the shite that is being put out these days.

On a related note, I've had to qualify my praise for Project Hail Mary - I had to say, "It's legit good. It would have been good in the 90s. I'm not saying it's good because everything else is shite now."

Millennial Snark writing. Everything has to be witty, quipy, and dripping with irony. Modern Trek is a great example of this.

Quick glance at Strange New Worlds and every writer that I clicked on is genX and Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are both genX.

I'm not talking about the age of the writers - though many of these writers are Millennials, including the cowriter of this movie - but rather the style of the writing itself.

Right, so just completely blaming something on a generation that has less to do with it than the one above it.

Dave and Jon are GenX. Seems the style of the writing is GenX.

I'm not a big Star Wars guy so I didn't watch this right away, but the hype and love for season one was off the charts. My neighbor at the time, I kid you not before S1 was even over, got a baby Yoda tattoo. So I was expecting the greatest thing since the original trilogy.

I could not have been more meh on a show. The entire premise of the show was every episode the Mandalorian going "hey, hold this baby while I go do something cool." I couldn't wait for the season to be over and never watched S2.

Since I don’t have Disney+, let me see if I understand this correctly. We have baby Grogu who is actually older than the Mandalorian, but he doesn’t understand things because he’s a baby. So instead of just telling him which button to look for, the Mandalorian is naming all sorts of systems, subsystems and directions which this supposed baby has no chance of understanding. But that’s funny right? Ha ha, baby don’t know stuff. Things go boom!
